Due Dates

I've read that only about 5% of babies are actually born on their due dates. My daughter's due date was November 8th and she was born on her due date. (I was induced. Had I not been induced, she would more than likely have not been born then.) So, out of idle curiousity, how many of you had your baby on their due date? If not, how far from your due date was he/she born?

DD was born on her due date according to her 20w ultrasound but was born a day early according to the date of my last period.

DS was born on his due date.

So I guess you can say both of mine were born on their due date.

He was born 1 day before his due date. Spontaneous labor.

I was really lucky he cooked for that long, since I had PTL at 23W 6D.

DD1 was born at 38w4d. DD2 was 39w5d. Both born after my water broke at home. DD1 my water broke the day before she was born and I had to be induced. DD2 after my water broke labor progressed on its own.

I thought I would be a lot closer to my due date of November 14th because my mom and sister both had their babies within a few days of theirs. However, my water broke 3 weeks and 4 days early, on October 20th and H was born 8 hours later!

According to my LMP he was born 5 days early, but according to my 12wk ultrasound he was 2 days early. He was born on DH birthday though!

Due 11/25, was induced on 12/5 (10 days). No clue how long I would have gone, she was quite snug.

However, I was born on my due date! I like being punctual!

DD was due 11/27 and I was induced on 12/5. She was born on 12/7, 10 days past my due date.

He was born @ 39 w 3 days. Due 11/7 born 11/3. I was scheduled to be induced at 6 am on 11/3 but went into spontaneous labor at 2 am on 11/3 and he was born at 7:18 pm 11/3.

DS was born on 11/1, had a c section at 38 weeks 6 days due GD and enormous sized man child. (10lbs 2oz).

IMO I don't think I would have had DS before due date. When I went in for c section he hadn't dropped yet.,,,,,

Went into labor by my water breaking at 39w5d, he was born on his due date, November 6th.

DD1: due date 11/11/11. She came late 11/19.

DD2: due date 11/11/13. She came early 11/2.

I was just ecstatic they didn't have the same birthday.

They had changed my due date from 11/28 to 12/3 at my dating ultrasound. Went into labor 12/2 and had him on my due date

I have a due date baby! Due 11/24 and spontaneously went into labor 11/23 and she was born 11/24. Just like her mom - always on time!

My due date was 11/17, but based on a dating ultrasound I wasn't 40weeks until 11/21. DD was born 1:09am on 11/25 after my water broke 11/24, 9 days after my due date but only 4 days after I was 40weeks. My MW never really bothered with changing my EDD I guess.

Spontaneous water break in bed 18 days before EDD. I was always scared to be that person but in public. Glad I was at home at least.

ETA: I use spontaneous loosely here, I'm pretty sure a big fat "o" from taking care of business is what brought it on.
