PSA: Facebook group closing

Hi everyone. I'm making my way over here to announce that we are closing the FB group. Between now and next Friday we're giving you ladies last one opportunity to request to join. The requirements for joining are as follow:

You must have 100 posts in the last 2 months on this board. Post or threads on other boards don't count towards the 100 post counts.

At least 2/3 of the ladies already on the FB group must recognize your name. This isn't meant to make us "exclusive", but due to many ladies not frequenting TB anymore, they aren't comfortable with ladies they haven't gotten to know join. We will be making a poll for anyone who requests to join to make it fair.

The Facebook group started over 6 months ago while we were all in our second trimester, so a lot of ladies have had half a year to form bonds and relationships so please don't take offense if enough ladies don't recognize you. It's not personal, just simply a matter of them not coming to TB anymore.

Is there a way to check how many posts you've made in the past 2 months?

@lena122 -- the way that I do it personally is to click on my Siggy and then it will bring me to a page that shows links to the discussions I've started and the replies I've done to other discussions. I don't know of any easy way to filter it by which board, though.

FWIW, I think you've met the requirement with no problem.

Can't help but feel a little left out.

Being due near the end of mid-February and having been a very active member on F14, then having my baby so early in January....

I feel like I should be here now instead of there but not many people know me so I feel like a bit of an outsider. I'd love to join and hate that its not going to be an option once I've been here a bit.

I had a December baby and lurked in Dec13 but I don't have friendships with the girls on that board so I wouldn't jump ship. Our FB group is of girls that have been here mostly since the beginning or middle of pregnancy and we've become close getting to know each other in that time. We have the FB group to share some really personal stories. It's not really just a replacement group for using TB. Maybe start one with the F14 ladies?
