To think, I just bragged about how well my son (29mos, speech delay) was doing. Listening, paying attention, sitting when asked. He has also been doing really well at speech therapy. Boy, oh boy, has he had a rough couple of days. He has been unusually disobedient at daycare (he just switched to the school 3 weeks ago) I can see him on internet monitoring and I can see he is not listening. he's acting out. He is also on a nap strike it seems for the last two days.
He had been sleeping 10-11 hours each night in his big boy bed...but then he got really sick at Christmas and got knocked off track. We haven't been able to get him on a good sleep schedule since. He goes to bed at 730. Falls asleep by 8-830. Wakes up at least once or twice every night for a diaper change and/or comfort.
Maybe it was mercury in retrograde, maybe it's this never-ending winter, maybe he's just having a rough couple of days, maybe it's that he's a 2 year old....maybe I'm overthinking all of this.
What can I do to get him back on track sleepwise? Should I just accept that he is the world's worst sleeper at the moment??? Mama is tired!
Re: Sleep issues: Help!
