What cut jeans?

I'm in the market for a wardrobe makeover and part of what I want to trade up in is jeans- get some nice pairs that really fit instead of the cheapy ones that are irregularly sized and look like a diaper after a few hours. I know my brand, but what cut do you guys wear the most? I kind of like the look of boyfriend jeans but haven't tried any on.

Skinny jeans from Ann Taylor. I never would have thought I would love skinny (you know, cause I'm not) but they are really flattering and I love them. I also love trouser style

This. I don't like skinny jeans at all. My mom thinks I should because I'm thin, but I just don't like how awkward they look one or anyone else. Boot or flare all the way.

Another vote for skinny - I think they are actually really flattering on most people. And they're also comfy because they usually have some stretch to them.

I like bootcut and skinny. Try to find ones that go by waist size, they tend to fit better.

I love my boot cut or flare. I only wear my skinny jeans with boots, and that's it. no other shoes.

I like skinny jeans and boot cut. Dark wash for both.

Also, I feel like boyfriend jeans don't work on me. I'm 5'3" and feel unkempt in them.

I mostly wear skinny. I do have boyfriend jeans that I wear for the Fall/Spring but they are not an everyday jean.

I'm a plus size gal and I'm really starting to like skinny jeans. The key for me is not to wear the with boots (because then it looks like I have no legs) and to wear the with cute flats. I wish I could wear booties, but that's not the look for me.

My favorite pair are slight bootcut and the boyfriend from JCrew.

Here is my problem is I do not know what has happened to jeans in the past 6 years but I have not found pairs that last long. I used to LOVE banana republic jeans and they changed the fabric and now are so cheap and fall apart. Has anyone found a good pair of jeans that last longer than a year?

Bootcut or skinny, it depends on the outfit.

I also found out that I need to wear jeans for a day before deciding to keep them. I had several pairs of jeans at home, and wore each one for a full day. By the end of the day, every pair of the cheap jeans were sagging in the butt. Old Navy was the absolute worst! I could pull them off my body by the end of the day without undoing the button or zipper, and I started with a smaller size than I ordinarily wear. I finally decided it is worth it to pay the extra money for a few great pairs of jeans that fit really well.

Depends on the tops you will wear most often.

If you like longer, flowy, blousy, tunics then you will want a skinny or straight-let fit.

For a more fitted top, possibly even one that tucks in or has a band, a trouser pant or slight flare-leg fit would be best.

I'm jealous, I'd love to do a wardrobe overhaul!

For the price (on sale for $19! right now) old navy skinny jeans are pretty awesome. I had the flirt skinny bridging me from post pregnancy to pre pregnancy weight and loved them.
