Wondering if I'm the only one - I rarely leave the house, and if it is with LO, DH is with us. I want to blame the weather, or the fact that getting out of an apartment in the city is a huge pain, or that the flu is everywhere in my state... or perhaps I'm just lazy this will serve as my motivation to trek out solo.
He's 1 month tomorrow. We try to get out at least once a week. We would go out a bit more, but I haven't been cleared to drive yet.I would like to enjoy the AZ weather before it hits 120.
My LO is 6 weeks. We go out most days bc I go a little crazy around the house. I keep him in the car seat away from germs for the most part. I'll visit my work once he has 2 month shots.
3 1/2 weeks, leave about 4-5 x/week- we gotta get out of the house or I start overthinking things and getting stir crazy. Plus, being on maternity leave, I like to do things I didn't have time to do before, like go get coffee for fun or go on long walks.
LO will be 8 weeks tomorrow. (Holy crap just writing that seems insane...) I put a couple of times a week but it's really more 3-4 probably. If it were warmer out, it'd definitely be every day. Even though he hates being in the car seat, momma needs to get out of the house and be around other people!
LO is 7 weeks and I said a couple times a week. DH is with me every single time. We usually just go to the grocery store, or a quick errand somewhere, just to get out. If the weather wasn't so pooopy, I'd go out every day.
We try to venture out at least once a day. If not, I would go crazy!
This. But we are in Southern California where we do not have weather woes to worry about, and I will say that we did not start going out regularly until she was 3-4 weeks, and has increased in frequency since then.
Our Baby Girl, Emma, changed our lives forever when she was born 12-19-13
DS will be 7 weeks this Sunday. If it wasn't sooo fricken cold it would be everyday. But if it's not snowing I get out of the house at least 2-3 times a week for the past 3 weeks. DH and I didn't take him anywhere until he was over 3 weeks old. Sometimes if I need to get out DS and I will just go for a little car ride, just to get out of the house.
Lo is. 9 weeks. She is my 2nd kid so I find it much easier to leave the house with the littles this time around compared to with DS. Plus she was born right before Christmas at a very busy time the year so we just jumped in to it.
I am also home without DH all the time except 3 weekends a month so if I want to go anywhere, I am taking the kids. I do try to consolidate trips so I am out of the house between 3-5 days every week.
LO is 7 weeks. We go uptown everyday to get out of the house, grab the mail, groceries or a coffee. I can't sit at home all day I go stir crazy. We live in a small town so everything is in close range and we always run into someone we know which is nice for this mama who is a social butterfly!
DD is 7 weeks old. I either take or pick up DS from school and usually try to fit an errand in. With DS I never left the house and I think it contributed to my PPD. I made a conscious decision to get out more this time. The weather has been cold but ok for errands. We only go on walks if over 40F. I try for that daily if possible.
This. I'm going crazy being indoors. If it's really cold, I don't but as long as it's not in the teens, I warm up the car and we head somewhere. Can't wait for the weather to warm up.
She will be 8 weeks. She's left the house maybe five times. It's effing freezing here. We have an awesome park five minutes away, once it's warm we will probably go there every chance we get!
About twice a week. On sundays we take her to visit her grandma and the other time is to run a errand or to grab food. I don't take her out much during the day cause she cries a lot and to soothe her, she's gonna want the boob. I'm still getting used to breast feeding in public and also cause I'm overly paranoid of germs and sick people around her.
I guess I'm a crazy germ exposing mama! DS is almost 8w and we go out 6-7 days a week. We do the grocery store and target weekly, visit friends and families houses, go on walks to the park, eat out, and he's even been to the zoo twice. I feel like if he's in the Moby or in the stroller covered up then he's fine. I'm sure DD brings home more germs from preschool than he could possibly catch from being carried through a store!
DS isn't even 3 weeks yet so we have only been to the dr. and back to the hospital to get his hearing rechecked. I plan to start venturing to the grocery store in the next week and hopefully the weather will be a bit nicer so we can take the dog on walks.
Baby K is 3 months old! Max: The original fur baby
DS is 7 weeks and I said a couple times a week. Same as pp, if it wasn't so cold we would go every day. I go crazy sitting at home so we walk around the mall ( i babywear), go to a group, or I'll stretch errands to go over a couple days.
DD is 7 weeks today. We leave the house every day to drop DS off at school and pick him up from daycare, so I put that we leave the house every day - even though we usually go there and straight home. But I do run errands with her in tow a couple of times a week, and we are out most weekends with family...so we do get out 3-4 days a week besides just taking DS to school.
We go out 6 or 7 days a week, sometimes a couple times a day. DS2 is 6 weeks. It is bloody cold here, so I have to drive everywhere we need to go. Luckily we put car starters in both vehicles this fall so I can make sure we get into a warm car.
We have to get out of the house or DS1 who is 3 years old would go bonkers. He is an active boy and needs to burn off steam. He has gymnastics lessons on Tuesday and swimming lessons on Friday so we for sure get out to those. On other days we go to the mall just to do laps or we run errands.
DS is 8 weeks. We go to target about 1x week, walks every other day (I should go every day - So Cal weather!) and meet friends at least 1x week. Yesterday we did our first baby class too that I hope to incorporate more often.
On weekends we go out with DH, but during the week it's just the two of us!
We go out almost everyday. I walk to the grocery store and go to my SO games. I'm also taking advantage of the nice AZ weather. I'm so not looking forward to the summer.
Every day-- we go for about an hour long walk with the dog in the morning and evening. A couple times a week we go the mall or other store with her, too. Half is just with her and I and the other half DH is with us, too.
Our guy is 10.5 weeks and I leave the house everyday. Multiple times a day. We are constantly shuffling from the grocery store, play dates, pre school, art class and visiting family. My husband is gone 3-4 weeks at a time, so I don't have any other choice.
Em turned a month old yesterday and we go out a few days a week to people's houses (mom, MIL, etc.) I've never taken her to the store or anything, mostly b/c I enjoy my child-free store trips too much, so I go when DH is home to watch all 4 crazy kids.
We go out almost every day. My husband works from home and with no office space he works in our tiny living room and I am confined upstairs with DD. We've had pretty decent weather for the last 2 weeks, so at the very least I go for a walk with her at a park close by. Often we go to the mall or Target sometimes just to walk around. I have to get out of the house or else I would go nucking futs. Never mind that I told him we would need a bigger place when I got pregnant and now he's like well shit this sucks. Ummmm yeah. Yeah it does.
Interesting. I guess I'm just nervous still. We are starting to go for short daily walks (I have the opposite problem - So Fl so it is 80 degrees and humid by 11am). We go out to eat with mil about once a week. She will not stay in her car seat so one of us has to hold her so I'm nervous about germy people. I'm still waiting until end of March to let those without the flu shot hold her. But I think my bed rest of 4 months made me very comfortable staying home (thought it would be different after she was born) and I get home sick fast. She will be 6 weeks Saturday. (She is also very small, under 10th percentile so that adds to my worry about germs, I think).

LO is 6 weeks and I wish we got out more. As is, it's a couple times a week. We live over an hour from any destination (restaurants, doctor, Target...), so it's quite a commitment to leave. It's made DH and I realize how isolated we are, and start thinking about leaving (We live on-site where we work, and we both love our jobs, but even in just 6 weeks, we both feel so trapped being so remote. I always thought we could/would stay here until LO was 3+ (when we started thinking about school), but we won't make it. Hearing tales of baby yoga and the zoo and, hell, even errands with your LOs make me so jealous!

I said couple times per week bc that's what we did last week when temperatures were a bit warmer. This week only once so far. We've gone on walks with the dog and on errands around the city.
It's hard for me living in the city without a car and I worry about when she'll need to eat next (I EBF) and how I'll change her if we're out for too long (FTM anxieties I'm sure.)
Dd is 7 weeks 3 days.Almost every day- ds is almost 4, and he is busy! We do my gym on Mondays, Preschool on T/Th and usually a play date on Wed. On sat/sun we have plans. I put the baby in the ergo, so then I limit her contact with the outside world. If it's exceptionally snowy out, I'll stay home.
LO is 7 weeks old. I don't take her out very often because DH WFH so if I go to the grocery store or something, it's easier to take my oldest and leave baby at home.

9 weeks tomorrow. we are out every day. I didn't see anyone else mention that their baby is already in daycare like we are. Even before that, we would be out most days of the week, unless it was ungodly cold.

It depends on the week, but we usually get out at least a few times a week. I am still in school so I have to take her to my moms when I go to class, we've had almost weekly paediatrician appointments, and sometimes on the weekend we will go to visit some family or something. She has been into stores a few times but it is usually when we are already out (like when I had to pick up her reflux meds after her doctors appointment).
