I dont think this has been brought up yet but Im seriously wondering what all of us plan on doing in the neither regions when our bellies are too big to SEE down there LOL.
Im only 22 weeks and I can hardly hardly manage to navigate a razor down there. Last PG I didnt have this problem until like 35 weeks and then I had my c sec so it never became a problem.
DH was laughing in the shower the other day and offered to help but I think Id rather him NOT ! LOL
Waxing ?? Shaving?? Au Natural ?? Whats your plan ?
Re: TMI ! How do you plan on ....landscaping ? ;)
@kaysa2 you are officially my new favorite bumpie.
I'm just letting it grow. I may trim a smidge or clean up my bikini line if its easily accessible, but that's it. I figure I'm delivering with midwives who started their own "Natural Birth Center", so I'd venture to guess that "au natural" is more commonplace in their practice than "landscaped". Edit: To add, that in addition to not really caring, I also can't think of anything I'd like to deal with less than itchy bumpy new growth while recovering from my delivery.
All our babies
In celebration of my (anticipated) release from pelvic rest my hubby will be weed-whacking for me down there. No way I'm comfortable trying to just hack away blindly myself especially with how "voluptuous" my lady lips feel (I can no longer see them). BTW, my anticipated release date is ONE WEEK FROM TODAY!!!!
Plus, I can't think of anything LESS fun than recovering from birth with red itchy irritated bumps all over that area... No thanks!
What I am going to do is ask DH to help me trim the hair short using scissors. I didn't do this last time and having all the postpartum yuck matted in my hair was pretty gross and uncomfortable.
BFP#2: EDD 2/11/14, MMC confirmed 7/15/13 (growth stopped at 6 weeks), D&C @ 12 weeks 7/25/13

Keeping it neat and clean as best as I can. I don't wax my bikini area normally, so I'm not resorting to that. Kudos for those that let their DH's do it..I'm totally all set with that as well.
Last time I shaved myself. It wasn't that hard to do. I was thankful I kept up with it. Having 14 stitches down there after delivery not to mention the pretty heavy bleeding..I was just glad I took the extra effort to tidy up down there..I felt like it made it a little easier for all the pp stuff
Married DH 7/30/11
CSC arrived 5/7/12
CHC arrived 6/2/14
The interesting part of your post was about stomach hair. While I usually only wax from the bikini line down, my belly is looking extra hairy. I'm not sure if it's my imagination or the taut skin, but it's not cute. Either way, I'm not waxing or shaving my belly.
