We get a 4.5-5 hour stretch starting around 8p-2am. Bedtime varies anywhere from 8pm-9:30pm depending on how the days feedings fall. After the 2am feeding, we will get another 3 hours or so. The second sleep session she doesn't sleep as well and grunts and squirms a lot so she usually ends up in the bed with me otherwise she will wake herself up.
I couldn't have said it better myself. This pretty much exactly! I never know what to do with the second sleep session because she makes so much noise and moves a ton but eyes are sewed shut so I assume she's sleeping? But then there I am wide awake staring at her to make sure haha I think it's somewhat normal. She has GERD as well so I think that is part of why she grunts so much?
We were averaging 4-6 hours a night, then he hit a growth spurt or wonder week and was getting up every 3 hours for several days. Then we decided to try the Miracle Blanket I've seen some of you talk about on here and LO slept for 6.5 hours last night! He's 8 weeks.
I usually get a 4 to 5 hour stretch. Sometimes I get 6 but I actually wake him up to feed him. I have a low supply and can't go too long between feedings. Plus, it hurts to wait too long and I usually start leaking everywhere. Ugh...
Mama of boys, Landon (Jan 14) and Harrison (Aug 15).
Hunter just slept 5.5!!! That is a first for us the most we had before was a 4.5 hour stretch then he is usually up 2-3 hours after that. I'm okay with that as I got a couple hours of undisturbed sleep, hoping this keeps up and he decides to start sleeping longer sooner than later. I'm a happy momma as I like to see this progress, reminds me that things will get easier!
