Would you return a bra that you've been wearing for 2 days?

Normally, I don't return any clothes after I've taken the tag off and worn them. But I was fitted at Nordstrom on Sunday and bought a new bra, for the low low price of $88. It was the most comfortable one that I tried (out of 5) and it seemed very comfortable in the store, especially considering I was squeezing myself into one 2 cup sizes too small for the last few weeks. Anyway, I've actually had a lot of shoulder and back pain since I started wearing it on Monday, the underwire is cutting into me, and the lace is leaving red marks on my skin.

Nordstrom will definitely let me return it, but I don't want to take advantage of their generous return policy. And I will likely exchange it. I just feel bad because now that I've taken the tags off and worn it, they won't be able to sell it once I return it.

Would you return it?

  • Absolutely. $88 is a lot for something that you'll just stop wearing

  • Yes. I'd feel bad too but ultimately I'd do it.
  • Definitely. I've worked many years of retail in my past and people return things for the dumbest reasons and way longer than 2 days! You have a valid reason.

  • yup. With the inflation of their product pricess... they can be ok without one 88 dollar bra.
  • Of course! If you don't like it, you're not obligated to keep it, return and get something that you really do love.
  • Return it for sure! They'll understand and 2 days isn't long. :)
  • YES. WHYYYY would you keep something that made you that uncomfortable? Especially at that price, you deserve to be feeling "ahhhh", not "ouch!"

  • I'm a retailer and there are a lot of situations in which I would say "ABSOLUTELY NOT!" but this sounds extremely legit - it's not like you bought it with the intent to wear it and return it, nor did you damage it and return it.. it truly isn't working the way it was intended to, and I don't think Nordstrom would even expect you to hang onto it for that price unless you were truly satisfied.

  • Yes. I used to work at Victoria secret. They'll take it and just damage it if its been worn for a few days so it doesn't go back on the shelves.

  • Yes, return it.  You should be comfortable in something that you were fitted for and paid that much money for.

  • Normally No.  But since they measured you and it super uncomfortable, return the sucker!
