Hi there,

Although I feel like I know ya'll just a bit as I have been trying to read forums for the last week, I am finally getting around to a proper intro.

I am 32 and my husband and I have been TTC for some time now. I have PCOS, so that added some extra hoopla. I got a BFP on February 13. Valentine's day was extra special this time around. We just kept starring at each other in disbelief at the fancy restaurant... apparently, we needed more than 24 hours to allow the new information to soak in before going out in public with this grand secret!

(The EDD is October 17. This child is our first; this pregnancy is our first.)

We are currently living in Northern Wisconsin to be near family, as this is where I was raised. We moved from the San Francisco Bay Area in June of 2013, and prior to that my home for 8 years was Colorado. *If you are traveling to any of these areas and if you so desire, I will happily offer foodie places and 'adventurey ideas.'

(My DH and I currently disagree about determining the sex. ...if the little one chooses to show their stuff when that time comes. I suppose it is a good thing that we have a while to make a joint decision.)

Hi everyone! My name is Mel. I am 26, have a 5-year-old son, engaged, and coming to this board as a surrogate mother for a wonderful couple in France! I know that is a bit different because I won't have a baby to care for at the end, but I was hoping to join you with the ups and downs of pregnancy. I was part of an expecting club when I was pregnant with my son and it was such a great source of information!! I haven't been pregnant in a while so I think I've forgotten a lot of things by now. However, if you would rather I didn't join, that is absolutely fine with me, let me know! I am not easily offended, so I promise I won't be upset. I am currently 6 weeks pregnant, went for the ultrasound today and found ONE solid heartbeat. YAY! My official due date is Octobers 20th, and we were measuring one day ahead today.

I think you are giving a family a pretty amazing gift. It's pretty awesome that you are up for that challenge. As far as I am concerned you are more than welcome here.

Hello everyone!! I'm Stephanie, due October 20th with #2, I have a good feeling about this time around, I miscarried 4 times before, but was overweight and didn't exercise. I fixed that problem lost 80lbs and just hit 6 weeks today!!! My husband is in the Navy and we have been married for 9 years now. We just moved to Florida, and our daughter(7yrs old) is our princess and she has been wanting a sibling for years now.... I kind of want to scream I'm PREGNANT from the roof tops, but I guess telling everyone on here works too lol.... for now!!! I hope everyone has a happy and healthy 8 more months!!!

Hello October moms!
I live in good ole Oklahoma. I'm due on 10/26/14. This is my first pregnancy so a lot of new things. I'm going to school for surgical technology, and we are during some clinical rounds right now, so nausea isn't my best friend currently. Hi y'all! I'm Dani from Memphis. I'm 26 years old, have owned a marketing management company for 5 years, and love mango. My SO is Zach. He's 27, owns an application development company, and is the first person I've met who loves mango as much as me. I'm a first generation American (family from Barbados). Zach came to the states for college from Nairobi.

This little sweet pea is our first very pleasant surprise. I initially got a BFN on 2/15, but it was a tad too early. Before heading out on a leadership/team-building retreat, I decided to test again to be sure and... voila! There's a baby in there. :-)
