They're super sharp, and almost uncutable due to their paper thin make up.
How do you combat this? Mittens? Layettes with built in mitten? Jedi Mind Tricks?
How long until I can allow LO's digits to roam free without fear?!

Re: Let's Talk: Baby Fingernails
I got the Safety First lighted newborn nail clippers and clipper LO's nails. The light feature makes it so much easier to use.

I have that one but without a light! I clip them with the clipper. She cries sometimes because I'm keeping her hands still but hey, I feel like crying when she's scratching the skin off my breast! Now we're even lol
I still use the same baby clippers for my 9 year old that she had as an infant. As time went on it became part of the routine for her
I also cut my son's nails while he slept. Normally, I'd think that it would freak me out but it was never a big deal. DH absolutely couldn't do it and still doesn't like to even though DS is 2.
