Mine is all around not being able to get comfortable and sleep. I was up every 2 hrs on the nose to pee and between that was doing nothing but tossing & turning because my hips hurt like a mother f'er! Oh and don't forget my legs going numb once I can't feel my hips anymore. I want to make it through this week/weekend and then I am 100% ready to meet my lil girl and be done with pregnancy!

Can I play late? I've been holding onto this since last Tuesday....

So my SIL. She is a great person, but she is the biggest control freak I have ever met in my entire life. We went car-camping once and had a HUGE BLOW-UP FIGHT because I put the dish sponge in the wrong place. She is also super judgy about my housekeeping. (It is MH's fault that I know this because he passes her comments on to me --- I think he thinks it's funny?) We get along fine if we're staying at my IL's house --- me'n MH have our own space, and MIL does the cleaning. Thank God.

SIL called MH and asked if she could crash at the house for a work conference coming up. Not really listening to the dates, MH said yeah, sure, of course (they are very close).

The conference starts on March 26 and goes for several days. In case you can't see my ticker, that means it starts two days after my EDD. Either I will have a newborn or I will be a huge bitchy pregnant lady. Either way I don't think I can deal with this.

CANNOT DEAL WITH THIS.

Why would she even ask to stay with you the week of your due date? Can she make any other arrangements? Would her employer not out her in a hotel?

I don't think she realized when my due date was. She could probably make other arrangements, and I asked MH to ask her, but he hasn't yet. She works for her state and I doubt they have much of a travel budget. When MH talks to her I'll make sure he says something about that....

...the other thing is, I am planning to have my MOM staying here right after I deliver. That is all the houseguest I can handle.

I need to gently remind MH to bring these things up with her, and ask him to be firm. Because she will totally offer to camp in the back yard as the solution and he will say yes but that won't really relieve my stress about the situation.

I really don't want to hurt her feelings but I just don't think I'm going to want her around! And MH is all, "she will just camp in the back yard, it won't be a bother at all," but she will still need to use the kitchen and the bathrooms and I will be stressed!

It took until 37 1/2 weeks, but I finally got a "are you having twins?" comment today. No lady, it's one baby, it's just ready.

@bearsbearsbears I think we need to institute this policy pronto.....it's never been a problem before!

(Actually waitno, there was the time he told his parents they could come and stay for a week right when I was scheduled for a week of 12-hour night shifts....so pretty much I slept through their entire visit and it was SO AWKWARD....yup, we need this policy yesterday!)

Turned in my letter of resignation today to find out I will have a $1,000 fine to pay for leaving early...ugh! I had no idea!!!!!

Say what now? Couldn't you just say then fine, I don't resign but I will be out on unpaid leave for the rest of the year and then resign as of June 30th?

My bitch for this week sounds pretty justified to me, but I may just be being petty.

First, someone knocked my mirror off the driver's side of my car. (That was Saturday.) Then I found out today that one of my headlights is out. Then, my boss tells me that she will not be giving me any hours at work until after my due date, and after my doctor clears me to go back to work, after she hasn't given me any hours since week 28.

On top of all of this, some credit website has been charging me every month for a service that I don't remember signing up for. I tried to cash my work check and a couple from my baby shower on Saturday, and they told me they wouldn't cash them because the website had overdrawn my account. Royally pissed, I took what funds I already had and tried to go buy my breast pump (one of very few things we didn't get at the shower, which was beautiful, by the way. I haven't AW-ed my photos from that yet.) and they didn't have it. And then I couldn't figure out which bottles to buy, because my FTM mind just can't quite wrap around how to choose the right ones.

On the brighter side, my bank got all the crap figured out with the website that was charging me, and credited the lost funds to my account.

I'm no longer in the negative, and I'm going to get my breast pump tomorrow. The universe finally decided to lighten up my crapstorm. Woo!

My aunt (her mom) cornered me the one day and expressed to me how upset my cousin was that I said I may not be there and how she really wants me to be.

If that was the case then she should have picked a different date. I am not committing myself to something 30 minutes away and on top of that spending it with my family who are all driving me nuts. Then my aunt continues on saying that even if I am uncomfortable and miserable I can just be that way there. Maybe it is just the hormones but this is frustrating me and I hate how it is getting turned on me making it seem like I am being the bad guy.

Is it possible that your cousin is OK, your aunt is the one who's really upset and she's projecting it onto her daughter?

My bitch for the day is that the world is trying to ensure that I have no money to pay our bills while I'm on maternity leave.

First, there was the whole issue with the midwife I had been going to wanting to do all kinds of tests that would total up to $2000 out of pocket. Then, we had to rent a car to pick up my stepdaughter because our cars were stuck in our driveway after the snow storm on Thursday, which was $160. Normally, we would have just picked her up the next day, but we have been having some issues with her mother that prevented us from doing so...then, on Saturday DH had to replace a tire because he burned it out trying to get his car unstuck, which was $140. Then yesterday, on the way to our baby shower, we hit a pothole so massive that it popped the brand new tire DH just bought and threw his car way out of alignment...so we paid for a new tire and alignment today which was $235. Then, while I was out running errands tonight, DH noticed water pouring into our kitchen...turns out we have a really bad ice dam causing water to run inside, and it will cost approx. $1000-1500 to remove.

Oh yeah, and I'm not going to be getting a paycheck for 2 months starting in approximately 3 weeks. Why, universe, WHY?

The board can waive the fee which I don't see happening as they didn't for someone else. But trying that is my first step. After that we will see about taking unpaid leave the rest of the year instead. I just had no idea there was a fine and was totally caught off guard!
