XP-Would you call?
I posted on 3rd tri too.. Need opinions quick.
I'm on strict bedrest for shortened cervix. He told me to call if I have 4 contractions within an hour. He didn't specify braxton hicks or painful contractions.
I started having BH 2 days ago and I had around 6-8 total yesterday...they were weak enough for me to question whether I was having them or just the baby moving. I can confirm it when I touch my stomach and it's hard though.
Now that I know what to look for I had about 4 this morning and they were definately within an hour (i was in my 20 minute shower time), but I hadn't drank any water yet.
I finished showering, came downstairs, drank water and ate breakfast.I didn't have anymore for about an hour. I've had 2 more within 20 minutes.
Would you wait for 2 more within the hour or would you just call?

I called. the office is closed and i left a message for the on-call. Waiting waiting waiting.
I would err on the side of calling....

I agree, with pregnancy stuff I always call. its better to be on top of everything.
He called back and said to drink 2 big glasses of water all at once and sit down (i have been sitting)
He said if I have more than 4 within an hour or have them every 15 minutes to come into the hospital.
After I got off I had one at 9:52 (while I drank) and another at 9:57.
This is some scary shit! Thank god DH is home today.
If they don't slow down from the water then go to the hospital. Better safe.
