The weirdest feeling

I just wondered if anyone else has had this.

LO has been moving around like crazy today, but I just felt her kick/roll down really low. Like low enough to take my breath away and make my toes curl. She's done it 3-4 times in the last few minutes. It makes me "clench" in that area because its like a falling-out feeling.

Obviously I know my baby isn't about to fall out (though that would make L&D much easier), but I was wondering if anyone else has felt this. Should I be concerned or is it just another preggo perk?

Glad I'm not the only one putting up with this. Baby will be extra grounded for this when she comes out. She's already grounded for making me puke and kicking me in the ribs. No dating boys until she's at least 3 weeks!

I'm really glad you posted this. I was having the same feeling a day or so and thought it was so strange. I've been planning to ask my OB about it at my next appointment. I'm glad others have felt this, so I'm less alarmed now. It really was a really strange feeling!

Yeah I'm not sure i like being kicked/punched/head butted in the cervix. I think it might be her head as most of the activity is higher up now, which would imply she's upside down. I just don't know with this little critter!

I remember that from my first two, this one is still breech and it contantly feels like she's trying to either curl her toes around my cervix or shove her foot through it. That's awkward too.

I got a prenatal massage today and my LO did the same thing. I almost felt like I was going to pee myself right on the table, releaved I didn't. Glad I'm not the only one.

Totally normal, delightful part of pregnancy. And it might feel like LO is hitting the cervix, but most likely it's the pubic bone, which sort of shields the cervix at this point.

My LO thrashed so hard against my pubic bone one night last week that I jolted into pike position out of a dead sleep and nearly caught air off the bed. So incredibly painful.
