  I've never heard of it but I sure hope it's true. My sister sure could use it as she hasn't been working at her new job long and won't have much vacation/sick time saved up. Let me know if you find out more info. And good luck!

  TCI - temporary caregiver insurance. This will cover paternity leave for up to one month.

  TDI - temporary disability insurance. This will cover maternity leave for as long as it's considered medically necessary.

  TCI can be used as part of maternity. Leave as well as paternity leave

  I found out today that it is seperate from your recovery time and that you have to reapply for that and you can't do it till your cleared after your recovery time.  Just a little extra info for you.
