We got some scary news UPDATED

Will has been a bit sick and throwing up his feeds. After his 11 feed yesterday he started projectile vomiting nonstop and had a possibly bloody diaper. The doctors immediately halted all feeds and ordered a stomach x-Ray. He has now had 3 x-rays and blood tests and they are treating him as having necrotizing enterocolitis. The x-rays keep being questionable but inconclusive. So they have him on NEC watch and are preemptively starting antibiotics.
I have been calling in and talking to his doctors all night and he hasn't thrown up anymore. But he also hasn't woken up since that feed. The doctor said they would make a decision by rounds today about treatment. If they treat it will be 7-10 days of antibiotics and no feeds, IV fluids only. I'm really scared for him.
@babycaps - I assume you see NEC a fair bit? Google is horrible so I'm now avoiding.
UPDATE:
His x-rays are still inconclusive so they are treating him as if he has NEC out of caution. He's technically in 2 risk categories but just barely, so we have to go aggressively. He will receive 7 days of antibiotics and no food. He is getting a central line placed tomorrow so he can get nutrition. We will cautiously restart feedings after that course and see where he is. If he is still struggling we will discuss a G tube after that. The doctors have said they really don't think he has NEC but they have to treat aggressively since they can't conclusively say he doesn't have it. Meanwhile he is acting more himself today and is just fussy because he is hungry!

Staying away from Google = always a good choice!!
ETA: Yep, as your internet friend I strongly advise you to stay away from Google. I googled on your behalf and I think you really shouldn't see some of the images that pop up. Very medical-textbook.
This probably goes for the rest of the BMB, too! I am not scarred because I am cold like that, but really, as you value your sanity, don't look.
