You and your LO are in my thoughts. Glad to hear you got to the hospital before any cervix dilation. Hope some water and rest will get everything under control!
This happened to me at 21 weeks with my last pregnancy. I was quite dehydrated at had progressively stonger contractions. Thankfully my cervix stayed closed and they slowed after I was given 2 liters of IV fluids. I was put on 48 hours of bed rest (until they stopped completely) and told I had to drink 3 liters of fluids a day for the rest of my pregnancy. Thankfully it didn't happen again and I delivered a healthy baby girl at 40 weeks. Scared me into staying hydrated.
Hope everything works out, they can stop your contractions, and your baby girl gets a lot more incubating time. T&P.

BFP #1 May 2010! mc @11weeks blighted ovum, natural mc.
BFP #2 Sept 2010! mc @9 weeks, natural mc.
Diagnosed with Prothrombin Gene Mutation or Factor II (hetro)-baby asprin while ttc,
Found out the hard way that I am deathly allergic to aspirin- OB put me on Heparin injections.
BFP #3 July 2011 with DS (whom was diagnosed with bilateral trans-radial limb deficiency at 20 week A/S-with no answers why) born 4-12-12.
We are both home and doing well. They slowed way way down and I being a nurse and a bad patient begged to just go home. I promised to drink, rest and monitor them. Everything is good except the spotting and cramping from all the cervical checks. Slept well until I had to get up every two hours to pee. My lil girl thinks its time to be up for the day and has been very active. Good for her, bad for mommy.
No more power shopping with grandma without a liter of water to take along I guess. They think I got really dehydrated and was doing too much walking considering my low water intake.
Again ladies I really can not express how thankful I am to have all your support and prayers. It's been a rough few days emotionally and personally and to know that even strangers care so much to take the time to gather around me gives me strength and the ability to hold my head high. I can not say thank you enough!!!
I hope to have an uneventful pregnancy from here on out.
So glad to hear that everything is going well and that you are back home and resting...hope that the rest of your pregnancy is uneventful from here on out!
