I have another cheer competition tomorrow (at least it's right in Boston - yay for no travel!) and then Sunday, I'm meeting up with my BFF to complete my registries and get some shopping done. I haven't seen her since before Christmas so I'm really looking forward to catching up.
About 10 of our friends and my bro are coming over to play Cards Against Humanity at my place! I've asked everyone to bring something to eat or drink so it's gonna be a party/game night. Can't wait. I practically hibernated my first trimester and miss my peeps.
My DH is taking me away for the weekend :-) it is only an hour from home but I'm pretty stoked about sleeping in a king size bed, eating out at our favorite places, spending Saturday used book shopping and doing our registry!
Taking DH out for sushi tonight for his birthday which is next week. Saturday, we are going to clear out 2 closets that are super overstuffed with crap (so not looking forward to this but we got to make some room). Sunday, we are going to pick out a color for our nursery and go pick up the crib. Hope to be able to spend some time outside since it's going to be 60 degrees!
Today is our a/s so I am only working a half day, and then DH and I are going to my moms to share the news and then he is taking me out for my birthday dinner tonight.
Tomorrow is my birthday and DH and I are running in a local 5-miler together. It's my first race in 3 months so I am so excited! We are meeting friends for brunch after the race, and then going to another friend's birthday party that night.
Sunday, I am meeting my two BFFs for a bday brunch and then hopefully relaxing and watching Parenthood on Netflix for the rest of the day!
Tonight I am going to make pasta carbanara and trudge around the house in comfy clothes. We may watch a movie, and hopefully I'll get some action (it's been a pretty dry week).
Tomorrow is a breakfast/brunch birthday celebration for my brother at my paren'ts house, then straight to an afternoon birthday celebration for two of our nephews, then out for a late dinner and shenanigans with 2 of our couple friends.
Sunday I hope to grocery shop and work on some of the crafts I've got going on. Should be a really fun weekend!
Tomorrow morning we are headed the the local farmer's market for treats and some new spring potted plants (it's in the 80's here) and then to a couple's baby shower in the afternoon. Sunday we are going to a yummy breakfast (cronuts!!) and hopefully a little shopping...DH doesn't know about the shopping part yet!
Married 6/28/08, TTC 7/10, BFP 11/30/11! Charlotte Rose born on 8/4/12! TFAS 8/13, BFP 10/14/13! Lori Anne Catherine born on 6/13/14!
Trying to finish up the detail work on our master bathroom renovation (this has only been going on for 5 years now) and hopefully installing closet systems so we can start to get all our storage out of the nursery closet. Maternity center tour on Sunday--not sure whether it will be super necessary/helpful, but at least it makes me feel like we're doing something to prepare for these kids!

I am super impressed by you and your energy! I get winded walking up the subway steps lately.
The Hubs is running in an event called Trek the Tower. Basically you run up the stairs of a 45 floor building (so 90+ flights of stairs) I found out right after registering I was KU so I will be working the geat check area while he runs. Nothing like a 6:15am wake up on a Saturday. At least Whole Foods is sponsoring the food area so I can much on decent items.
On Sunday I'll be cheering on my broomball team since I'm benched this season. Basically I'm watching all of this physical activity happen this weekend from the sidelines.
Since we closed on our old house this week (woohoo!) this will be the first weekend that we don't have to do any cleaning, packing or moving from the old house so I am hoping to finally get stuff done at the new house. It is only three weekends until DS's birthday so I need get finished unpacking. THEN maybe I can start to think about the nursery.
I promised we could get more painting done upstairs, so there's that. Our dinner plans for tomorrow night just fell through, so no cooking for me, yay! We will probably just hang out.
I am going to get in some newborn baby snuggles. My sister in law delivered her son this morning and I can't wait to hold him. Other then that I'm hoping to have a relaxing weekend home with my kiddos.
I am so excited for this weekend! My best friend from college is currently driving here from across the state and will get here after dinner. She is single with no kids, but fantastic with children, so my kids are super excited. We are planning on going to Ikea tomorrow to start buying the furniture we need to transition my kids to their "big kid room" and get the nursery ready for the twins. I am sure we will also goof off and go out to eat a bit, too :-).
Saturday we have no real plans. If I can get myself (and DH) motivated we may start on registry. I'd love to drag him out to get pain samples so when we go see the new place next weekend we can start making paint choices since we have 2-3 rooms that need painting.
Sunday morning we have a friends birthday breakfast which he deemed "baconfest" which the thought of makes me want to puke. In the evening we will just be doing things around the house.
Pizza in with the fam tonight. Hopefully a little extra sleep tomorrow a.m. if the LOs allow it. The gym. Sunday I am going to Target (yes, I get excited about trips to Target by myself!) and then to get a manicure and pedicure before we leave for Florida next week. Suuuuuuuuuuuuper looking forward to that!
I'm going to get my eyebrows and lady parts waxed tomorrow morning Whoop Whoop! And then a cut and color for my hair and then I'm going to watch my husband bowl in the state bowling tournament. Then maybe tomorrow night I can get lucky With my new 'cooter 'do' LOL! Sunday I have a brunch book club meeting and hubby is bowling again. I still have lots to do at home though, clean, grocery shop, laundry and finish sewing my niece's birthday present so I can focus on nursery items! It will be a busy weekend for sure!
Tomorrow is going to be a lazy day and I can't wait. Sunday we're driving down the hill to see my parents and grandparents. I'm going to do some shopping and eat ice cream! I've been trying really hard to not eat out during the week so I'm ridiculously excited to go to a restaurant and eat my weight in ice cream.
I am adding that my in-laws have just agreed to take C for her first overnight!!!!! We'll drop her off Saturday morning and pick her up sometime Sunday lunch-ish. I am beyond excited. We won't do anything really fun, but the bliss of quiet, potentially sleeping in on Sunday, and just being able to relax with each other...sigh. So fucking excited, and I don't feel one bit guilty about it. First time since May 7, 2012 that DH and I have gotten a night to ourselves, together. We've both had nights away, but one of us is always with C. Ooooh, I love my MIL
Tomorrow we are registered for a Lowes Build and Grow workshop for the kiddies. (Something you should all look into if you have 2.5+ year olds. It's free and very cool.). We also have a birthday dinner at my IL's. Sunday is the usual church/Sunday school and probably a visit to my brothers.

In the morning DS sees the chiropractor, then we come home and pack. We're going to my SIL's in KC, MO. Hopefully we'll eat at Cheddars for dinner and I'll get to go to Burlington Coat Factory.
It's 3:45a and I can't sleep so I'm looking through your adventurous weekend plans . I'm very excited to sleep in tomorrow (if I can ever get back to bed)! Having lunch with a fellow pregnant friend on Saturday and am looking forward to a super greasy cheeseburger- yummmmm! Happy Bday @babygabe614!!
I am so jealous of each and every one of you! (In the best way possible ) I am still in the hospital so my plans for this weekend are...stop having contractions, sponge bath (yippee! No...for real...pretty pumped about this), eat awesome hospital food, and...if things get really exciting....Maybe get my iv taken out!! In all honesty, I'm so very thankful to still be pregnant and realize this is only temporary, but goodness gracious I would give my right leg just to go outside n breath fresh air for a few mins. Y'all have fun this weekend and hopefully I'll be able to get in in the excitement soon!!
@MarciP83 I was just wondering about you the other day. Hang in there mama. Can you have someone wheelchair you out for a few minutes or are you stuck to the bed?
I'm a little late to the game, but today we're organizing baby's room. We have most of the big stuff, but we can't put it together because there's no room to move around. We're organizing and taking a bunch of stuff to the Value Village. And regular Sunday clean-up. Going back and forth between ordering a pizza when we're done or making tacos...
Re: NBR - What's up for the weekend?
Probably work on DDs room a bit. Tear up the floor and do all the wiring.
We have a busy weekend coming up!

Cute!
