What are you wearing?

Re: What are you wearing?

  • My maternity pants are a little to big while my regula pants are to small. So I've been living in yoga pants for now. And all maternity tops

  • Leggings! The maternity ones make my belly look cuter.. Same old tops/dresses. Still fitting my size 25 jeans.. With the button open :)
  • For pants, I'm wearing all maternity. I didn't buy many and am just rotating. I have a few maternity shirts but have been mostly wearing pre-pregnancy shirts and dresses that were blousy in the stomach before. I'd like to spend as little as possible on maternity clothes. I did break down and buy a maternity bathing suit for vacation though because my boobs were not going to fit into my regular suits.
  • For real?  Some of you aren't in maternity clothes yet?  I am jealous!  And feel huge!

    FTM, not with twins.

8 weeks:  out of button up shirts, cardigans worn open only.

12 weeks:  skirts and slacks out of the question, jeans still okay because they are low rise (under the blump).

15 weeks:  jeans need to be unbuttoned when seated.

17 weeks:  even my yoga pants suddenly don't fit!  Yikes!  Emergency order of maternity pants!

Now (22 weeks):  the only non-maternity items I can wear are pajamas and a couple of giant tops.  Even my coats don't fit!  And I'm sleeping in a sports bra!

  • I am in 90% maternity bottoms and regular shirts but it is only a matter of time. I went to Target today to get some tops and everything is still winter so I only got two clearance shirts and one regularly priced top. The weather here is already warm so why the heck can't I get some warm weather clothes. Harumph.

  • I have been using a belly band with my dress pants and jeans since week 16 or so. I do have mat jeans, but they feel too baggy in the crotch for now, I think I have to wait a bit and get bigger to stretch all that extra material out. I've had no luck finding mat dress pants I like...may have to order online.

On the top, I've been wearing non-mat cardigans undone with long mat tanks, and I have a couple mat sweaters I've tried out and seem to like the most.

As for home, still wearing reg sweats and one pair of mat yoga pants I had pre-preg just because they were sold out of reg ones at Old Navy and they're so darn stretchy and comfy.

  • I'm 22 Weeks And Have Been In Maternity Jeans Since 14 Weeks. I Have A Couple Maternity Shirts Leftover ButMost Of My Regular Shirts Aren't Fitted So They Still fit
  • 25 wks and I'm full on maternity clothes. I have been since the beginning of the month. My regular clothes were bothering my belly so I chose comfort.
I cleared out my closet last weekend and took all my "regular" clothes and moves them to storage. There is so much space now it crazy....and it's making me want to shop :)
  • Haven't started wearing maternity or even belly bands yet. Much like last time, probably wont until third trimester.

  • I haven't switched over to maternity yet. I always had to wear a belt with my pants....now I just wear them without one! We will see how many more weeks they fit.

  • Oh yeah, I've been in maternity clothes since about 12 weeks.  I'm wearing 100% maternity clothes now, none of my regular clothes fit.  I'm filling them out pretty well, too.

I will say that it wasn't this way with my 1st PG, though.  With DS, I didn't switch to maternity clothes until around 18 weeks and could have probably made it to 20-22 in my normal clothes.  When they say that STM show earlier, it's no joke!

  • Almost 26 weeks all maternity pants, except sweats. About 50/50 on the shirts. I always wore a lot of tunics because I have a long torso, so I can wear those still. I think it's time to invest in a few more tops though. I'm a lot if belly now.

  • I'm fully into maternity clothes and have been for several weeks now. I've put several of my non maternity tops and bottoms into a tote for storage. I figure I won't be able to wear them for several months and then while on maternity leave I plan on hanging out in yoga pants and shorts/tshirts.

There was also no way it could all fit into my little closet so I had piles all over my bedroom floor which was driving me crazy!

  • I'm 21 was 5 days and fully in maternity clothes. I put away the rest of my normal clothes about two weeks ago.
  • This thread amazes me since I've been in maternity forever it seems like. I still am wearing and tend to prefer the demi panel pants and the more fitted maternity tops but I do wear the full panel too and I have enough of a bump to hold them up. There are still some of my dressy work tops with ties I haven't broken out yet since I don't feel I have quite enough bump to fill all the volume they create but other that yeah.....Trying to figure out what to do about PJ pants. Last time I wore a size up pair of regular flannel style pj pants and they sat right below the bump and were good. I accidentally split the seam on those and new pair I bought it already seeming like they irritating my midsection already. Trying to figure out what people do for maternity sleepwear, I guess they must make it.

  • I am 23wks and bought my first pair of maternity jeans and two maternity shirts plus a tank top on Valentines Day. I have some capri's that still fit, and a pair of shorts or two, I think. I'm going to get more maternity jeans/shorts soon and especially some more of the same shirts because they are the most comfortable shirts I have ever owned in my life and definitely could be worn and look great even without my bump. (:
