FFFC

YES! It's after midnight and no one has started it yet, so let's get these confessions going! I need some fuel for my insomnia!

  • Haha @ Gifs! I just had one of those moments of failing at getting out of bed. So far i can get out the first or second time. I just got stuck with my legs up in the air not being able to reach the floor.. My DH was sitting across the room at the computers and heard my grunting and "flaying" my legs all about and instead of helping he giggled and called me a dork! what a brat =P and surprisingly with his joking around all the time I still love him!

  • I'll have to think of my FFFC, but in the meantime: @Mamazon2014, I too roll around until I can gather enough momentum to sit up. My H laughs every single time and calls me a baby beluga. No help. Just...beluga.

My FFFC: me and DH just had our biggest argument in a long time. For some reason he's become a 14yo boy over the last couple of weeks and this culminated in him throwing a tantrum at midnight because his playstation game kept freezing. Somehow this is my fault (?!) so I took the brunt. He got me so mad that I couldn't sleep until gone 3am. I was up for work at 7:30 and he was still in a mood. Long story short I ended up throwing the ironing board at him. I'm not talking to him until he realises what an absolute shit he is.

The most flameful part of this is that you own an ironing board.

Wait, what? I own an ironing board! I got your back, @awc1986.

To be perfectly honest, I've used it once since we move in nov. DH uses it for his work shirts and that's it. He was setting it up this morning when he basically said he was sick of the sight of me, so I threw it at him. He's lucky it wasn't the fucking iron.

  • I get to work at 8 everyday... I usually don't do any actual work until about 9 because I'm busy catching up on the bump.
oh lawd, i'm so guilty of this!
  • I have another FFFC. I'm dangerously close to punching the office assistant in the face today. It's just me and her in the office and she's driving me mad. I did NOT sleep well last night so I'm not in the mood for her godawful annoying laugh, her running commentary on everything she does, her boring stories, her insistence on being first to answer all phone calls (they dial my direct line for a reason, hun), her attempts to answer questions that are not within her job description and therefore getting the answers wrong and her penchant for hair metal on the radio, which is next to my ear. I want to throw her down the stairs and I don't care if I'm causing an atmosphere.

I can't stand my BIL's wife. That's right, not even going to grace her with the title of SIL. She is straight up BSC. Hyper active, dumb as a box of rocks, and also seems high. I can't. And then she texts DH yesterday morning saying she thinks she needs brakes on her car. He checked them a few weeks ago. They were perfectly fine. FFS leave my GD DH alone you loon. Not to mention that it was bad before we moved back to his hometown, but now?! Oh good lord... If a single light bulb is out everyone is calling him up asking for advice. And this crazy lady apparently argued with BIL about her car not having license plate lights after getting a ticket for them being burnt out! Gah, and they have a kid.... The stupid, its reproducing.

  • I guess my FFFC is more of a UO - I don't think tanning beds are dangerous in general if used infrequently - I used to go about twice a month in the "winter" (I live in FL, so I'm saying I went about 4 times a year). Going to the bed all the time? Yes, I think that is dangerous and unhealthy. A handful of vanity visits in the winter whilst using SPF? Eh, not a big deal to me. I haven't been at all during my pregnancy and I just hate looking so wan.

  • There is a post on the breastfeeding board I am judging hard. Long story short the mom used Babywise and is now blaming Kelly mom for giving bad advice. Sorry but there is a reason Babywise is so recommended against. It would be one thing if she just said she didn't know the book was a bad idea but she's refuses to hear that it's not good to put a newborn on a schedule.

  • Yesterday, I took my car to get washed because it was a salt-encrusted, nasty hunk of metal and temps were finally above freezing long enough to make it worthwhile.

The FFFC: Car washes give me anxiety. I always go to the same one because it's the only one I know how to "operate." I'm always scared of not knowing when to drive up, when to stop, what to do with the car (some just want to you park, others want it in neutral, turn off engine/don't turn off), and so on. I don't want to look like a car wash n00b and I don't want to get stuck or ruin the machine or something. After I successfully made it through the one at this particular gas station, I just kept going back to that one and it lets me pretend I'm a car wash pro.

Also, I am not clausterphobic but when the foam covers my entire car, which is still running, and I can't see anything, it freaks me the freak out.

OMG this is totally me. Car washes give me so much anxiety, I will only go to the same one about 20 minutes away. I actually tried one close to my house and there was no attendant. You just put in your $ and pulled in. Well nothing was happening! I'm sure I must have forgotten to hit a button or something, but I panicked and backed out of it and drove away, haha. What a waste of $8.

My husband doesn't know I bump. He thinks when I'm on tis website I'm researching home births and VBACs. He's kind of old school, doesn't get social media at all, and I think he would think I'm weird for having full on conversations with internet people.

Me, too! And DH isn't old school or anything, he just thinks all forms of social media are stupid.

  • DH is going on a business trip in a couple weeks. I'm excited to have the house to myself (well, plus DD and the dog) while he's gone. And get the whole bed to myself. I'm jealous that he will be in LA and I'm sure I will be glad when he's home, but I love being alone and it's definitely become a luxury in the past few years.

  • I don't like the way most baby things look. High chairs, pack and plays, etc -
almost all of it looks big and bulky and I don't like the design. Same goes for baby and kids toys. Something about all the bulk and plastic makes me anxious.

So just get a basic PNP and a space saver high chair.

Mine too! He is on Facebook but never posts anything. He'll just log in once a week and creep. His friends know what's going on with him when I tag him in something I post. He does use Linked In, which he makes an exception for because it's "professional."

@kat8805 why doesn't she ask her own husband for help?

You FB groupies see me often... but I literally rarely update my status or any of that shit. I'm active on quite a few different groups besides ours... and quite frankly, any one who needs to know about my shit, already knows. DH tags me in photos when he adds them. Other than that... I'm lame.
