I'm all triggered up as of 8:20pm last night

It was fun having a few trigger buddies (@HopefulSoul2 & @missmarypoppins). I went in for more monitoring this morning, and tomorrow will be the ER. All three cycles have always looked great up to this point (10 eggs retrieved for IVF #1, 14 eggs retrieved for IVF #2). It's after fertilization that makes me want to be sick. But I'm trying not to think of that. I suspect that if we do get a blast, that we'll do a freeze-all. My lining has plateaued at 7.0mm, and my progesterone was up to 1.8 yesterday. But that's ok, I'd actually prefer to do a FET so we can get the ideal situation for transfer. I have never been so desperate to fork over $1000 in my life (to cover the cost of the freezing)!!

QOTD: I'm trying to pack my calendar with plans for the five days following ER. I have a rehearsal on Day 1 (where I will be obsessively checking my phone so I can step out when the fert report call comes in), I'm meeting with a friend to take a painting class (so looking forward to this!!), working on a big project (I coordinate a music event), work, and hopefully I'll find something to do in the idle moments. AUGH!! We haven't even had the ER yet, and I'm already dreading the news!!!

@RunCC37 - Best of luck with your retreival! I hope you get lots of blasts!

UPDATE: I had another morning monitoring appt and I'm ready to trigger finally! 11 days of stims to get to this point but all looks good. I'm just waiting on the nurse to call with the trigger time. I will have my retrieval on Saturday morning. We are doing a freeze all so it will be nice to stop getting injections every night for a little while.

QOTW: I just try to stay busy at work and doing projects around the house. We are currently remodeling our bathroom and it turned into a much bigger project than originally anticipated so there is plenty to keep me busy with that when I'm not at work.

Good luck to everyone with retrievals and transfers and two week windows coming up!

I think you can move me to the BFP category! Beta #2 came back at 190. Finally letting it sink in that this may work for us. Cautiously optimistic!

Beta #3 will be next week and ultrasound scheduled for March 7 (a little early but DH is traveling again and he didn't want to miss it!)

QOTD: apparently staring at your phone and constantly checking to make sure it has a signal does NOT make it ring. Lol yesterday waiting for the beta update call was the worst.

The first cycle we had the distraction of the holidays. This cycle is coinciding with work getting busy so I'm hoping that will be enough of a distraction. Also Netflix. Lots and lots of Netflix

Beta is scheduled for tomorrow morning at 7 am. I am SO NERVOUS!! I have had very few symptoms this cycle. I am not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing since IVF #1 was a BFN. I have not POAS as I promised DH that I would not. DH is absolutely positive that it worked this time. I really hope it did.

I have been positive this entire cycle and last night something changed. I am not sure why, but I am in the dumps today. UGH....this whole process is so draining to my self-esteem!!

QOTD: I don't know how I got thru this week....I have a feeling I will not sleep a wink tonight!!

@berries555 I definitely scrutinize very twinge, every upset stomach, every boob pain. Hard not to, but do your best to relax and stay calm. I was a bundle of nerves yesterday (with extreme road rage!) so I know it's easier said then done. Good luck!

Had my mid-cycle check yesterday and my lining looked great! We will be transferring 1 embryo next Wednesday

I finally feel like I get to start doing something this cycle. When I'm doing something, even though it's PIO shots, I feel like I have some sort of control-even though I really don't.

QOTD: We're actually going camping one of the weekends during the wait. I hope that will take my mind off the waiting for results. During the week, work and family keep me busy.

I triggered last night. Retrieval bright and early tomorrow! I've started talking to my 5 little follicles, I'm probably going nuts but I just need them to be strong and quality!

QOTD...I really try and distract myself with Netflix or a good deep clean of the house. But honestly I suck at it and spend a lot of time willing my phone to ring or googling possible scenarios like a mad woman. For the upcoming 2ww I'm going to force myself to pick up a few good books to distract me, suggestions welcome!

Another BFP! Congrats @floandmark ! I had monitoring this morning and I'm hoping to trigger tonight! I have 8 follies now from 10-22 with hopefully at least 5 that would be mature. My acupuncturist is even going to treat me tomorrow afternoon and pre/post ET which is great since she doesn't do house calls anymore.

Qotd: we rescued a puppy the day I started stims! It definitely helps to distract. I've also been doing more projects around the house.

Happy Thursday Hearts -

I triggered last night at 6:00 and I report to surgery center tomorrow morning at 6:45 for retrieval. Nurse said she sees what looks like 3 mature follicles so I'm praying they are healthy and hearty. I will be a hot mess while waiting for fert report so please wish me luck!

@runcc37 Hang in there. Remember - this cycle is going to be different! I'll be thinking about you tomorrow morning. I report to surgery center at 6:45 AM!!!

QOTD - Great question!! We just build a house and are designing our backyard area. I am hoping to get some landscaping done this weekend. I seem to have a very short attention span during this process and am very easily distracted. The closer I get to ER the more difficult it is for me to stay focused (especially at work!!!). I am looking forward to learning a few tricks from you girls.

Hi ladies!! Congrats to the BFP's! GL to those who have upcoming ER and betas!!

You can move me to the stimming list! I'm on day 6 of stims and doing well! My 2nd monitoring apt was today and my lining was at a 7.4. I have about 8 follies that are measuring 11-14 and 10-12 follies measuring under 11 that hopefully catch up! I will most likely be triggering on Sunday or Monday with a Tuesday or Wednesday retrieval! Almost time!! I'm still trying to drink lots of fluids and Gatorade to try to avoid OHSS like last time so I can try another fresh cycle!!

QOTD: ugh well I try to stay busy at work which is easy with working at a daycare when I'm waiting for news during the week. During the weekends I try to do projects around the house, clean, read or watch my shows! My DH and I have been obsessed with watching Shameless from season 1!

Just home from ER and feeling like a**. Thankfully DH is awesome and takes really good care of me. Just tucked me in on the sofa w heating pad, extra bottle of gatorade, etc and went out to go get protein lunch for us (he is watching what he eats but on ER days I let him get a cheeseburger since I need the protein - so that is his reward)

21 eggs retrieved this time!! (last time 15) Am also now at risk for OHSS - so downing the G2 like there is no tomorrow. At least now I know why I have felt so much worse this time around - even post ER I was in a LOT of pain this time.

Because we had such a big drop between D3 and D5 last time we are doing a D3 transfer of 2 embies (provided we get that) and freezing any that make it to D5. Hoping for a great fert report - find out tomorrow.

Congrats to all the BFPs. Hugs to all those who need them. And FX to those stimming, triggering, ER/ET and 2ww.

QOTD: Last IVF cycle I had the holidays to distract me. Not sure what I am going to do this time... hoping it will fly by.

We just got our second beta back and it is only 175 two days after our 110. The doubling time is 71.6 hours. We go back Saturday for our next beta but aren't feeling very hopeful. We know it is still possible but this is so not what we were hoping it would be.

Well, today is CD1 for me so I guess this is my last update since my WTF appointment isn't until March 10th. I'm starting to feel like myself again so that's good.

I am so happy to see so many Hopeful Heart BFPs! I'll be hoping and praying that our good luck keeps up!

I am waiting for the beta on 2/23 & have done a few hpts now. They either come up with super faint lines or get a line about an hour later (probably an evap line, but a convincing one). I have one hpt left that I will try tomorrow AM. I am now at day 11 past retrieval. I do not think this is going to be our cycle & perhaps the faint lines are chemical preg. signs. I have not completely given up yet though.

To pass the time I have been organizing a singing group to begin this Sunday.

Bad news for me, too. I've mentioned before that I start cycles out great. I don't have PCOS, but I have high AMH and AFC, so I always have tons of follies. The bad part is that I'm also extremely "brittle," which means that they can't get me through a stim cycle without having my E2 crash and follies stop growing. Well the crash happened today, day 7 of stims. The follies were only a bit bigger than Tuesday (~9 vs ~8 mm), but my E2 went from 484 to 92.

They want me to drastically increase my dose of the Gonal-F, but I'm already feeling hopeless. I hate that I respond like this, because it means I'll probably never get a good IVF cycle, no matter how many I do. I also made the mistake of stepping out of a meeting for the call, then I had to go back into the meeting and try not to cry in front of all of my coworkers for an hour. And it's cold and rainy and incredibly gross and slushy here, so the world just feels like an awful place today. Whine, whine, whine.

QOTD: I always start out with grand plans, like reorganizing my office or closet, but then I have no energy and just lie around watching Netflix and getting fat. Which is what I'm going to do in three, two, one....

My doc says it makes the ovaries more receptive to stims. That it makes them "listen".

Hello Everyone, Congrats to all the BFPs and hugs to those that are frustrated and defeated. My ER was yesterday 2/19 and they got 36 eggs, 33 were mature and 32 fertilized. Due to the number of eggs and my estrogen levels we are doing a freeze all cycle and will wait for my period to come to start the FET meds and scheduling. I was a bit disappointed about having to do an FET but the way I feel right now I am very thankful for it. I can barely sleep and even though I am back at work I am pretty miserable. I am high school teacher and my students quickly pointed out how bloated and puffy I am - arent teens the best lol. Keeping my fingers crossed that the embryologist keeps the good news coming. Have any of you done the lurpon trigger and/or cetrotide after ER? If so when did you get your period? Just trying to figure out a ballpark of when to expect my ET....

I had my ET today. It was great news - we had 2 high quality blastocyst and the doc said with the quality we have a really good chance of it working. But because both are so good he strongly discouraged us from transferring both - basically saying it would be a 60% chance we'd end up with twins... so even tho we went in bound and determined that we would transfer 2 seeing the odd that both would stick and looking at the possible complications of twins we changed our minds. I know it's for the best and i'm happy with what we decided - so FX!!!

But we will freeze blast #2 and we had a "good" quality one too so hopefully they both survive the freeze!

Blood Test will be 3/3

ER was today. I had some pain this morning, but got the good stuff from the pharmacy and am feeling much better now. We have 9 eggs but won't know until tomorrow how many were fertilized.

QOTD: Work has kept me busy throughout this whole process. I wish it was something more exciting, but between that and IVF, there isn't room for much else right now.

So I've been hanging out on both February and March's groups..... I started estrace today!!! Yay here we go again....

My official transfer date is pushed to the week of march 17th because my RE wants me on estrace for 3 weeks.... I'm not sure of the logic but I've made it this far so I'm just rolling with the delays big or small at this point.

My ET is tomorrow at 10am, we will be transferring one embryo so I am praying that my little embie makes it through the freeze still going strong and ready to settle in

I am looking forward to being PUPO but I am very nervous and scared I just don't want this cycle to end like the last. I am trying to calm myself and just relax, but that valium will help me with that tm! These PIOs are killing my butt! I feel like I am waddling when I walk lol....

QOTD: I have been very busy working, I am a nurse on an oncology floor and I finished my third 12/hr shifts in a row this week. So I am very much looking forward to a few days off. This cycle had really flown by! Plus working in oncology I have learned to count my blessings! (instead of feeling sorry for myself as I have done in that past)

@healz413 and @manada I'm hoping for you that beta #3 brings clarity and good news.

I had five measurable follicles Tuesday at baseline and then today showed they hadn't grown much. We increased from one vial of menopur daily to two and will return Saturday for monitoring. We will make a game time decision then about DH's work trip Saturday night. It's overseas and he wants to be here for ER and ET, we just don't have a clue when it will be! I'm having a small meltdown today about the no control whatsoever I have on my body.

QOTW: I am currently cleaning my office/craft room. I love the purging and reorganizing and wish I had been doing this the last two cycles. I also, insanely when I thought we would cycle and transfer in January, signed up to create a scrapbook page every day for the month of February. I've done it before, but not during treatment!
