Apparently I missed a week of the check-in, I apologize! I think it was because I had a holiday and was all thrown off with the disgusting amount of snow we got

This check-in is open to anyone that is part of the SAIF community and is currently TTC again, either on their own, or via injectibles, IUI, IVF, adoption, etc. Occasionally, I do a bit of clean up. If you have dropped off and would like to be added again, just comments and you'll be back in business

TTC again, even after successfully bringing home a LO (or multiple LOs) is a stressful process for all of us, and this group is meant to allow us the opportunity to provide support and suggestions to one another, and to receive the same in return.

A check-in will be posted every week. Please send me a PM or reply to the check-in post if you would like to be added to the group. Each check-in will provide the opportunity for you to provide an update as to where you currently are in your TTC.

QOTW: What is a baby name that you love but would or could never use?

ancp27 - 1/15 - We are TTC, kind of. We planned to go back to the RE this month but still no AF. I'll start charting for a few months once it's back. I'm not sure if we'll do any IUI'S r go straight to IVF. Hopefully we'll get lucky again.

Ducky719 – 2/19 - Nothing new here. Somewhere in the middle of my 40+ day cycle.

Mayzie15 – 2/19 - Saline sonogram was today and they found something that needs to be removed so I'm in the process of scheduling a hysteroscopy and not feeling great about it. I guess it's the fear of the unknown. I'm more concerned that this will push our April cycle back and we will have to wait longer to cycle. Nothing is ever easy in this IF journey.

mnj05 – 2/19 - The spotting I had turned into full fledged AF and lasted for 10 days. I have no clue what's up with my body having a 10 day period two weeks after an 8 day period. I'm still watching out for signs of ovulation, but nothing much past that. I really don't want to go crazy over temps again.

trigirl79 - 2/19 - We're currently TTC naturally but since I've had no AF yet and temps aren't really showing any changes, I don't think there's much going on. We go to the RE on Tues for a consult. We actually never went back after the BFP and they released us - I liked them well enough but needed to move on. So it's going to be very weird to go back. Part of me is feeling good about this since it only took 2 IUI cycles and since they could help us once, hopefully they can do it again. But I am dreading the uncertainty, the meds, all the appointments

TTC, with treatments

BabyKsMommy - 2/19 - Today should be CD1 and all tests have been negative, including todays, so just waiting for AF. Ill do another Femara cycle for fun. One of these times it has to work right?

Bellalou – 2/19 - 4th cycle cancelled. Max amt of fluid in ute and quarter size polyp. Hysteroscopy 2/21

chiwifey - 2/19 - Today is 6dp5dt and the test was stark white. I know it's early but I also feel like this cycle didn't work.

ccam - 2/19 - FET #2 was another BFN, so we had a WTF appointment on 2/14. New plan is to do more testing (bw done already and hysteroscopy & endometrial biopsy on Monday, 2/24). As long as everything comes back ok, we'll be moving onto a natural FET next cycle.

Efhoping2010 – 2/19 - No update from me, going to call Clinic 1 next week to talk about a possible IVF #4 cycle in summer.

fullfhope – 2/19 - IVF converted to IUI was negative. Have follow up with RE on 2/27

Ironmom2be - 2/19 - I'm in the middle of an IVF cycle now. Stimmed for 9 day (was a micro-dose lupron cycle, with 375 gonal f and 10u hcg) my E2 and progesterone were very high so my RE triggered me (I thought I'd go one more day since largest follie was on in the 17s) anyway, triggered Sunday 2/16 and had ER on 2/18. They got 49eggs. Fert Report is already in, 28 fertilized. Now we wait until Saturday to hear how many get biopsied. Transfer would be Monday, day 6, because of the day 5 a-cgh pgd.

mdiblasi10 - 2/19 - IUI #4 was a BFN. We have a consult with our RE next Thursday 2/27 to talk about IVF.

MoFree - 2/19 - I'm in the early phase of my 2ww and refuse to test until the day before beta. I am getting into a very dangerous habit of fantasizing that I am having twins because they transferred two embies. I need a reality check really soon.

Pam MG - 2/19 - I had my baseline yesterday and DH usual goes with me but since we re trying the lone ranger I decided not to get to caught up in the process. I tried to act all happy but had a moment leaving the exam room and our doctor saw me and gave me the look. Also, I wish they would flipping figure out our insurance so I would not have to pay a butt load and then have a huge refund.

PennyLane26 – 2/19 - Grr. AF is being a little biotch and holding out still. No signs or symptoms, just playing the waiting game. Once CD1 is here I'll be starting meds for FET with transfer on CD20!

readyornot24 – 2/19 - I am finishing up BCP on Sunday and then stims start next week. I can't believe this process is starting again, really hoping the change to antagonist with HGH is the lucky ticket.

srveatch – 2/19 - We transferred a single 5 day blast rated 4AB on Wednesday. I am traveling for work and can't help but be concerned this isn't the best chance for a sticky embryo. The strangest thing started happening two days ago.. I started vomiting in the morning, just like morning sickness. However I know it is too early for that symptom, the DR thinks the estradiol may be upsetting my stomach. I plan on POAS on Saturday when I get home, Beta is Monday (2/24).

STL34 – 2/19 - I am starting an IVF cycle soon for TTC #2. My baseline didn't go well last Friday. I had a large functioning cyst. They had me use an ovidrel on 2/15 and I will be going in tomorrow to make sure it ovulated. If it did, I will start high doses of estrogen and wait for CD1 while praying that everything looks good at baseline. I really want to get things started!!

millie1984 - 1/15 - We are not actively trying yet, but MH and I have an appointment with our RE today to talk about IVF for TTC#2. We are going to go over things like cost and if our insurance will cover PGD, etc. We are also going to see if I am a candidate for IVF. So we're hoping to come out of the day with a game plan and more of a timeline for when we want to start officially TTC again.

Prettyaccountant – 2/5 - We are not TTC right now but we met with our RE and was advised to do some egg harvesting while I wait for the one year mark when I can do a FET. My OB wants up to wait one year before TTGP. DH needs to update his SA and that is giving me major anxiety. My fear is what if it comes back with zero sperm found as it did initially? Then there is the anxiety of my eggs! Ugh - cycling brings back suck bad feelings. This will be my 5th fresh cycle and 6th overall. What am I thinking? Lol

Robeano - 12/27 - after some soul searching, I'm gonna take a break from trying until I get down to pre-pregnancy weight. I gained a bunch of weight in the last two months and I don't want to start off being pregnant this heavy.

BFPs! Let's Celebrate

CallMeAl - 2/19 - 39 wks 1 day today. Haven't been to the OB in two wks since my appt for canceled due to the blizzard, but I'm going this morning. Feeling quite ready to meet this little boy.

Mcgeeva - 2/19 - No news here. Had my weekly apt with my one crazy doctor yesterday who seriously met with me for 2 minutes and sent me on my way. No clue what my bp was. He made the joke if Pre-E pops up he will see me then. Mk..useless apt. So until next week we just wait...coming to the end slowly but surely. Nesting big time trying to finish going through DS' old clothes for our next lo and getting DS' bag packed as well as mine in case something happens. Waiting on DH travel schedule for next week and that is about it. Can't not wait to be done with acid reflux!

Imoverit – 2/19 - 32 wks and I have SPD, ouch. Hurts to walk and do anything basically. Dr. Wont let me travel anymore. Boo. I have an u/s Mon with MFM. Cant wait.

Mr.& Mrs. Woodtick – 2/19 - nothing here.

Cwhitaker27 - 12/27 - I'll be 11 weeks tomorrow. We told our families on Sunday at "our Thanksgiving". I just told the doctors I work with today since I was off mon/tues sick and throwing up all day. They were/are very supportive so that's great! We are telling the rest of our family and friends via our Christmas card next week. Overall still feeling very sick but happy to let the cat outta the bag mostly.

Eve_Angelique - 2/19 - No real update I guess, rolling into 2nd trimester over here. M/S has cut back quite a bit for which I am thankful

Kdfecarie – 2/19 - Working my in to trimester 2! Almost 13 weeks here! I feel like i have been missing for a while! I have been so sick, LO has been sick and my house feels like a den of sickness... Not fun! But tomorrow we are off to sunny CA for a week of beautiful sunshine!!!

carrera317 – 2/19 - I am about 12 weeks. I found out yesterday the results of my harmony test. All is normal for chromosomes 13, 18, and 21 and the sex ones. We found out the gender but are torn on whether to tell people. We didn't find out w our boy and it was so fun. Either way, results allowed us to have some relief and now we actually "feel" pregnant. I can't wait to tell my parents and son!

Kissies - 1/29 - I had my first ob prenatal visit yest was there over 2 hrs! Nurse and ob couldnt find hb with doppler. Since Im still having bright red spotting they fit me in for ultrasound. Of course I was at appt alone waiting over 30 mins for ultrasound. Luckily all was ok heartbeat 173 and got to see baby move! Ob said the big decision I need to make is trial of labor for vbac or elective csection. Im so torn!

LeoLauren - 1/15 - It's official. BFP x 2! Omg (what I'll be saying a lot for the next 7 months)!

Mnerani – 2/19 - No big update here. Closing out week 7 and feeling a little of my energy returning. DS is suddenly really fussy and needy so I actually forget that I'm pregnant some days. Which is good, because I feel like the first tri with DS lasted foooorever.

Saraevh - Noah Christopher was born on December 3rd at 8:01am via c-section. He was 7lb 7oz and 19.5" long!

Colin and Levi. Both great names. Both ex-boyfriends.
And DH can't use Lucy, because of "stupid Lucy" at his office.

@Ironmon2be. Wow, 49 eggs. I'm on mobile and can't see your siggie but were you diagnosed with PCOS? I can't inagine how uncomfortable you must have felt before ER.

QOTD: I love the name Gabriel for a boy but DH's cousin used it for his son, in memory of their grandmother so it's off the table now. I also cannot use Julia and Benjamin, both names I would consider if I get the chance, because DH's cousins used them for their children.

Thanks for having me, ladies. No PCOS, I just have an insane response to mdl protocol. First time I got 39, that yielded my daughter. I have a BT, so we have to do pgd and get lots of not normals

I'd love to join in. We're currently TTC naturally but since I've had no AF yet and temps aren't really showing any changes, I don't think there's much going on. We go to the RE on Tues for a consult. We actually never went back after the BFP and they released us - I liked them well enough but needed to move on. So it's going to be very weird to go back.

As for names, I always wanted Charlie for a boy but one of my best friends used it for her girl...so that is off the table. For a girl I like Freya and Francesca but DH is not down with them at all.

QOTW: I always tried thinking of two names for each gender while going through IVF for H in case of twins. My other boy name I liked was Owen because it was the only one that went with the middle name really well. (H's middle name is after my dad so if we would've had another, the middle name would've been after DH's dad.) Owen is the only name DH vetoed because he knows a guy with that name that he cannot stand.

Hugs to everyone cycling, sometimes people do not get a BFP until beta, hoping and praying that is the case Chi. Ccam some RE's think Natural FET is actually better, praying this works for you!

No update from me, going to call Clinic 1 next week to talk about a possible IVF #4 cycle in summer.

For names nothing is really off of the table but we do use a mix of our heritages in naming, Chinese and Jewish.
