@Bkuhman, sorry. Just love (sarcasm) when family feels the right to share such info. I think next time my FIL infers such I will remind him of all the crap his son has pulled and that no one else would have stuck by him. Humph. Maybe you should remind her he got to pick his wife, unlike his family?

DH annoyed me. He was late, but it snowed a lot, so no biggie. Since LO was cranky from teething and slept off schedule, I hadn't taken kids out to play. So I took the 2 and 4 year old out while he watched LO. Well, he sticks his head out just as I was helping the 2 year old in and says LO is passing the point of no return. I went down the little sled hill we made with DS 2 more times and came in and the baby lunges for me. I look at her and ask Dh, "since she is so tired and it's bedtime, did you change her diaper for me at least? Or do her meds?" (she was clearly not in sleepy sack). Dh: "No, mumbles something under breath". Seriously? Come on. I have done it every.single.night. You are a third time dad, not a newbie, get it together and HELP. This is why I didn't want to go on this vacation we leave on in 3 days.

Tl;dr: DH held baby until she was melting down past tired and never got her ready for bed. How hard is a diaper, sleepy sack, and medicine when you are holding her anyhow and don't have the other 2 kids?

Also, should I add that we are staying with them until Thursday morning (4am)...... Fun.... (That's when we head to Missouri and then to Idaho.

Sort of my fault for not reading (the itty bitty fine print), but why does Target have big "Buy 3 and get a 5$ gift card" signs over the price tags for brand x, when this promotion is only valid for brands a/b/c? Seriously?

Wanted to buy shower gel, gleefully saw the above mentioned promotion over the Nivea washes, got stroppy with the cashier when she refused to give me the gift card, stalked over to the price tag with the promotion on it....and saw that even though it was on the Nivea price tag, the promotion was only valid for non-Nivea washes. WTF?

I really try to not judge parenting choices but some really irk me. In particular, parents who play extreme favorites. Acting like one child can do no wrong and the other can't do anything right is not a good message to send a child. It's bad enough to see it on a tv "reality" show but way worse when you witness it in real life.

how long were you on the market? I am really stressed out over selling right now. We only had 8 showings since listing last wed and yes I know we got a ton of snow but it was still nice out. No second showings.

I am really upset.

I think 8 showings is a lot since last Wednesday especially with this weather. I'm sure you've had this discussion with your realtor...but from what I understand this time of year is a bit slow in real estate due to weather and post holiday credit card bills arrive right around end of jan early feb and people feel the crunch a little. Recovery of post holiday slump/cold weather occurs sometime around late March.
Anywho...it took us a week to crunch numbers and discuss loan options. We were "just looking" for a LONG time until we decided to buy the place we are in now.
