SON OF A BITCH. I just got a frantic phone call from DS's teacher asking what way he was supposed to get home today. Because of DH's rotating work schedule, it changes every two weeks. I reminded DH to write a note FOUR times, including one this morning, to tell her he would ride the bus. He was "groggy this morning" and forgot and when he remembered in the car, he didn't have paper. So, he tells DS (who is SIX) to tell his teacher. Which I am sure he didn't do until the bell rang this afternoon. So, they held the bus until she could get in touch with me. Thanks Hubs for making me look like an even bigger fuck up in front of this teacher. I have already forgotten to send things for school parties, forgotten to attend a field trip I had already paid for, forgotten paper work, etc. Seriously, why can't he just think logically and realize what is okay and what is not instead of always picking the wrong choice and then whining about the consequences????
ETA: I can't wait until I can quit work when this baby comes so I can manage my house again. I cannot juggle work and all this house stuff. Something is going to fail every single day because we can't get our shit together.
Apparently while I was in previously mentioned class I didn't want to go to SO's mom called him and ripped him a new one for a solid 20 minutes because she looked at our BRU registry and decided we must know we're having a boy and purposely not telling her because she thinks all of the gender neutral stuff we picked out is "too boyish."
Umm.. seriously? Our nursery theme is forest/woodland creatures.. I'm pretty sure foxes, frogs, birds, bears, etc can be either sex. The only clothing related stuff on there are plain white onsies and some solid color cloth diapers.. everything else is in yellows/greens/oranges/etc.
My only complaint today is that I am starting to get mad at my baby for not moving and kicking so I can feel it. (Although I'm probably just not feeling it yet)
I'm only 18&1, but I'm just like DANCE BABY DANCE!!!
I said something to my DH yesterday about how anxious i am to feel the baby and he told me that the night before when i was asleep he had his hand on the side of my belly and felt the baby kick.
He assures me that is what is was, and that there was no way it could have been anything else (he has a DD from a previous relationship and knows what it feels like).
I lost my driver's license sometime after last Tuesday afternoon. I have retraced my steps and turned everything upside down, but cannot find it. I was going to go to the DMV after work today, but I cannot find my birth certificate. The town I was born in is two hours drive away. My birth certificate is, I'm certain, with another group of important papers that my husband moved months ago and I haven't been able to find since, despite searching every drawer and closet in the house. I don't know whether to scream or cry.
The library sends me a notice I have 5 items due soon. The issue, I've never heard or seen those books/dvds before let alone did I check them out. Yet somehow after many mean emails back and forth all they can do is give them 60 days to show up then I'm on the hook for the $.
And I have a new one. DH got a promotion at work. Well his company f'ed up his new paychecks and he somehow was taken off of automatic deposit. So yeah he didn't get paid when he thought he got paid, and he paid our mortgage on Friday. And we're going to F'ing get NSF fees. Why did you not check the bank account first DH? WHYYyyyyyy?!

Putting on my librarian hat. Did you lose your card or did anybody
else have access to it? Who are you emailing with - clerk, assistant,
librarian, or supervisor? The higher up you go, the higher a likelihood
your fines will be waived and maybe even have the items taken off your
card. When I had patrons dealing with this exact situation I would
usually be more lenient because there is no purpose getting everybody
all pissed off. Besides, I could detect a story full of shit any day. I
typically waived the current fines and then gave the 30 day line and
ask the person to come back if it wasn't resolved by then.
Try speaking with a supervisor/branch manager or even the director. (Not sure about the size of your library).
I'm
sorry that a library professional sent you mean emails. It is just so
unprofessional and there are better ways to deal with these situations.

OMFG you are my new lesbian crush. @knittylady. I lurve librarians. Rawwr. :x
::cozies up to @literachick. You stole my heart with your SN. We're like peas and carrots.::
I had an OB appt today and my LO was being a total fussy pants so I gave him my phone to play with. He threw my nice new iPhone and shattered the screen. Totally my fault but I'm still upset about it. And fucking snow needs to take a hike already!! Over. It.
Ahhh that sucks! I have an Otterbox Defender case for mine that I think has saved the screen more than a few times.
A customer outed me at work! I had only told one person... so either the customer heard me talking to that one person (who i didnt work with yesterday) or they can tell by my belly (but i wear my white coat it covers all)... im still dumbfounded that someone found out. Now people are mad a customer knew before them but its not my fault!
When I was in my first tri with DD I had a customer look at me, obviously I was not showing and I was covered by my white coat, and he just announced "You're pregnant". I must have given him a strange look, because he said "I'm a doctor, I can smell it". Pretty weird.
This totally has me creeped out.
One night after we got the BFP DH told me I smelled pregnant. I asked him with the heck he was talking about and he said I smell different when I'm pregnant. It would be even weirder hearing that from a stranger

I'm kinda pissed that he felt the baby before me.
That sucks, but he probably did. The babies usually start their dancing when we mommies settle down. Hope you get to feel something soon

Actually let me clarify, librarian was nice, I was the one pushing to rude They were checked out the day I was at the library but they have me like checking out the materials at two different times. The only thing I can think of (since I only have 2 cards, both on me, not lost) is that when they were scanning in my returns they somehow added some stuff, then when I was checking out that day the machine was acting up and the lady was having to move other returns farther away out of scan range so that pretty much tells me it picked some of that stuff up.
Just erks me last week they said I had not returned something and I was only 99% sure I had so I went to the shelves found it and showed them. Issue solved due to my diligence. I've never had a late item. Yet their history of mistakes not so clean...
Anyway I ended it with a nice thank you for the quick replies and the details on dates/times of checkout. I am just hoping they are found/returned. Otherwise I'll fight the fees come 60 day end time. Saving my email correspondence too just in case.
My friend is such a nasty bride I'm seriously debating not going to her wedding. Today's complaint she doesn't like how I told her I'm pregnant. Is she serious??????
Screw having to hold pee for ultrasounds. I downed 44 oz of water before the ultrasound, and by the time I got there, I was telling the ladies I was going to pop like a pee-filled water balloon if they didn't hurry up and get me in. Though they found my jests humorous and found me pleasant to work with, they saw an automatic difference after I used the bathroom. I became much sweeter. But SWEET JESUS, I cannot hold water like that. I honestly felt like I was either going to pass out or go on a dang t-Rex rampage.

I've never had to drink a ton and hold it for an ultrasound. I think I'd react like the llama in your siggy gif.
My husband needs to hurry up and get home from teaching so I can get a sonic blast and watch the bachelor. If I have ice cream and watch the bachelor without him he will bitch. He's such a girl sometimes.
I guess mine happened on Saturday morning, but is still bothering me today. I fell on Saturday morning spraining my right ankle really bad. Had a trip to the ER because I passed out due to the pain (I'm a baby and have no pain tolerance. Don't ask how I plan on delivering. I'm trying to not think that far ahead yet lol). Baby is just fine and I think I caught myself on my hands, because today, the palms of my hands are hurting and throbbing bad along with my foot. I run a home daycare and my hubby had today off, thank goodness, but I am annoyed I fell and that this is cramping my style...

I just spent 1.5 hours taking an online exam for my nutrition class and when I hit the submit button my wireless internet connection decided to quit on me. All of my answers were then wiped out, and I was not able to get back into the test in order to complete it again. It timed out and I received a big fat zero. The exam closes at midnight, no exceptions. Boohoo for my GPA! And I'm confident I would have scored at least 85 or above. It'd be nice to drink a stiff Captain and Coke right now.
DH is annoying and I just feel like punching him in the face. He really didn't do anything outside of being his normal "I can't figure a f***ing thing out on my own" self, but I'm not in the mood. He loves to push my buttons when I'm like this too, I just told him that I felt like hitting him in the head with the remote. He laughed, I am serious.
Mother in law burts into tears this weekend because I didnt appreciate her telling me im going to be fat and eating everything out of the fridge in the middle of the night. She was also offended that I didnt make her breakfast at noon or take her accusing me of lying about my due date to my DH AND because I dont want her filming my birth. I feel like that is not her place.
She lives 2 hours from me but my mom is 18 hours away and shes feels like I hate her because my mom came into town and we went to a sonogram place.
Am I wrong? She was invited to come when my mom was in town but she opted to take a rain check. Now all of his family sees me as the big bad pregnant daughter in law.
Who is supposed to be the emotional one here?! The pregnant lady or the DH mom?

Yuck. Nobody is filming me giving birth.
Pssh, if I have my way, ain't no one gonna even be in the room with me! when I am sick or in pain, I want everyone as far away from me as possible. I think it's a defense mechanism for in case I spontaneously combust or something.
Re: Monday Complaints aka let's hear what's got you feeling bitchy
I hate people like this.
