Joy of joys...it's snowing again

What's a girl to do? Well, since the 'beetus diet has me eating more bread than I usually do (um, and way less vegetables? WTF?) I'm making baguettes. They have just a small bit of corn flour in them, so my kitchen smells like a combination of bakery and fresh popcorn.

I'm so GD awesome.

Sort of northeast here. Has anybody seen "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers?" I feel like I live in the winter of that movie... minus the singing men and six other females... though that sounds dull.

I cannot take it anymore! This snow is killing me. Hubby let me sleep in today, so when I finally squeezed a couple of hours together at once without waking myself up snoring or having to pee, I rolled out of bed and killed a couple of hours watching the USA Hockey Game he so sweetly DVR-ed and waited for me to watch (while his friends texted back and forth and he refused to check his phone).

Now it is 3:30 pm and I am gonna LOSE it. Sleet/ice just changed to rain and we should get another 4-6 inches. I didn't move to South because of the possibility of Hurricanes (got two of those in the past three years) AND I didn't go to the midwest because of the frigid, snowy winters (and we are up to 70 inches in just January and February)...New York is looking like a bad choice now, lol. And in about 4-5 months we will bitching about the heat and humidity.

I am so bored because this snow is keeping me in the house and my DH is sick.
I think NJ (northeast in general) has had it with the snow this year. Praying it stops and today is the last one. Can't wait for spring!

Our snow still hasn't melted from two weeks ago, we just keep adding more ice and snow on top of it, including more ice tonight. I'm definitely over it. Maybe I should bake something yummy today. I'd do bread, but we just bought all the bread things from Costco yesterday.

I am with you, I'm over it. Snowed about eight inches yesterday/last night. It's pretty, but that is on top of the foot we got this past week. My dog (ridgeback/pit mix) is up to his shoulders at this point. Annnnnnnd I just went to the store and overheard someone say, "Yep, another foot of snow this Tuesday."

Sweet.
