I searched and it's been over a month since we did this.
How's your pregnancy going? Etc?
I was pleasantly surprised to find out Motherhood Maternity stocks plus size clothes in their store and not just online. Granted it was just two racks, but I got jeans, leggings and a shirt. Maternity leggings may be my new best friend.
I look like I am 25 weeks pregnant. I carry all my weight in my stomach anyway and even though baby is still tiny, it's pushing everything up. So I have a pretty big bump.
So far so good though, how about you?
Edit: sorry about the sideways pic. Always happens to me on mobile.
Re: Plus size check in
This is a pic from a couple days ago, don't mind the lame smile I actually hate taking selfies lol. I think I will be getting a lot of 'are you sure there aren't twins in there?' remarks when I'm further along.
A/S was this week and a 2 vessel cord was found. We have to go for a high res scan next week and we will go from there.
Next appt with the ob is the 28th, so we will have lots of attention in the next couple weeks. I finally actually felt my uterus from the outside this morning. I hadn't proved for a while, but it's all the way up to my belly button suddenly. Like others, it's just pushing everything up into the muffin top... But, I'm super excited to be half way there!
@Pup4gdb, I'll be thinking of you and sending you warm, fuzzy vibes!
*edited for spelling*
Pic is 19 weeks.
Baby girl was being ornery and wouldn't let us see her face or heart at the A/S so we have to get another. She's also taken to digging her feet into my side/pelvic bone, which feel just awesome. Lol. Already a troublemaker. ...yikes.
I'm 16w 3d, and like others have said, the wee babe has pushed my stomach flab way out...but I LOVE it
I haven't really gained any weight in the last month...maybe a pound, which is good I guess. I've gained about 7-8 pounds total, which is 1/2 of what I gained with DS. But I started out 20 pounds heavier with this one!
I have my regular appointment this Thursday, after which I'll schedule my a/s
Due to switching doctors I won't be getting my a/a until some time in March. I'm really disappointed but it's worth it to wait if it helps me get my vbac!
DH says my belly is starting to look more like a baby belly but i feel like i just look a bit fatter. i don't feel like it's grown much but i only have 2 pairs of pants i can wear without feeling suffocated.
my midwife did an ultrasound at my last appointment 17wks 4days and believes it's a girl. we have the A/S tuesday so we'll see if she's right!
I'm pretty well stocked on maternity clothes. I went to motherhood maternity and got 3 pairs of capris and one pair of shorts. I also got one shirt, but I also invested in a belly band. $30 for a tshirt? No thanks. The belly band will help add length to my prepregnancy shirts haha.
Still fighting with morning sickness. Can't wait for it to taper off. Also fatigued a LOT. And the acne is out of control. Ya'll should see the third eye I'm working on. It's awful!!
I've also been experiencing sneezing fits with this pregnancy. SO WEIRD!! At least once a day, I have a sneezing fit.
Hello, ladies!
I think I've lost 11 lbs at this point. Doc said he's not worried, but if I continue to lose into the 3rd trimester, he'll start to "fuss at me." I do have a little bump, but unless I'm working to show it, no one can tell except me and DH.
This pregnancy has been much, much easier than the last one (less symptoms overall). We have a sono today to measure growth and to check a borderline-thin cervix. We'll also be peeking to see if we have a boy or girl in there.
Regarding clothes, I've had a tough time finding things that fit comfortably, but I think that's just because I'm not solidly in maternity clothes yet. My favorite clothing item right now is pajama pants........
