I should have just simplified, and simply asked, does your OB measure your fundal height, and if so, did you measure small or large. I of course trust my doctor, just wondering if anyone here measured small or large
A question like this will not get you answers that are helpful for whatever it is you are trying to figure out. Example: my fundal height measures right on target but I have gestational diabetes and a baby who was estimated to be six pounds at my 33 week ultrasound last week. His belly is measuring at the 97th percentile and I was told that he is a macrosomia baby - aka large for gestational age. While the fundal height is normal there is much more going on with my LO's size and health.
All of this doesn't help you so that would explain the responses. Your OB will tell you if and when to be concerned.
Oh and I'm five feet tall and I'm definitely more than 150 at this point. Saying you feel huge at 150 at five foot three just doesn't go over well.

I don't mean to laugh at the expense of someone's stupidity.... But holy shit this board has been OVERFLOWING with stupid today. Really, I should feel bad. But I just can't. It's just too funny.
A picture?? AFTER someone called it??
I'm so glad it's a weekend and I don't have to work + I have school vaca this week so I really have nothing to do.
Well I am nervous to post now, but thank you for some of your replies. I did google before coming here, and noticed a lot more mid wives do the fundal measurement then OB's which sparked my curiosity, and my mother in law( who is a labor and delivery nurse) laughed at me also, when I told her I made my husband measure me. I suppose I got desperate to know how everyone else felt, that was in the same boat as me and hurt some feelings, I am sorry if I offended anyone, i will stick to lurking from now on
