Twins!!

So I just went to my first US.. 6 weeks. It's been confirmed.. I'm having twins!! :) I'm so excited esp after having two back to back MC. I had an intuition and after the high HCG levels I still can't believe it!!!! Anyone else having twins??

    OP, congrats!
    Son: Jackson, 11/02/06, stillborn due to PPROM and IUGR. Over the next ten years we had 9 miscarriages from 8-14 weeks. On May 18, 2016 my daughter, Ridley, was born. We're OADNBC.

    Lol it's ok. No I didn't have any treatment to increase chances. They run on my husbands moms side. Anyways, thanks so much everyone! I'm super excited but nervous. :) I had to share the news since we still haven't told everyone in our families. Just our moms and our closest siblings. Thanks again ladies! :)

    Congrats!!!! That's sooo exciting!  I'll have my US on Monday, my hubby says he has a feeling we have twins and so do many of those who already know about LO.  I kind of do too, but I'm trying not to think about that so I'm not disappointed if there's just one, lol.

    PG#1 - 3rd cycle BFP. Team Green. HELLP syndrome @ 34 weeks.
    Later diagnosed with Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, possible link to HELLP.

    PG#2 M/C 3/14 - Surprise BFP 2/13. Beta's doubled every 52 hours from 3w5d-5w5d
    Viable pregnancy scan at 5w5d; 2nd u/s showed 2 days of growth in 7 but a HB of 120
    3rd u/s on 3/10/14 had no HB and baby had only grown 7 days over 14
    D&C 3/17/14 - complications - DX Retroflexed uterus, multiple tears to cervix

    Started TTC August 2012. BFP 10/17/12...natural MC on 10/23/12, Missing our little bean every day!  11/13-started seeking help at fertility clinic. Me: 29 (ovulation/menstrual irregularities, HSG clear), DH: 31 (1% morphology, rest is normal)

    Thanks to everyone wishing us congrats! We have two LO already a boy who's 8 and a girl who's 4. So we are very excited to have two more! I swear I'm already showing or can't hide that my tummy is poking out a tad lol I had suspected twins after my first hcg levels. At 4 weeks they were 9,200 and at 5 weeks 3 days 41,000! My MIL mentioned 3 sets of twins on her dads side but I thought what are the odds. I am in total shock still! I'm so excited and so is DH but we are a bit overwhelmed with two at once! I'm still planning on BF bc I did with other kids till 18 months. That's what I'm most concerned about now. I'm a firm believer in BF. I loved the experience and it has been beneficial still with my kids immune systems. Anyways we have 8 or so months to plan. I'm due Oct. 10. Another thing I'm curious about is having a CS bc I have never had one but am thinking I'm prob going to have to with twins so any advice is appreciated! Thanks again to all of your replies! :)

    Just because you're having twins doesn't mean you automatically have to have a c section. Obviously there is a greater chance but lots of twins are still born the old fashioned way. ;) Congrats again!

    Congrats! I have 6 month old di/di twin girls. The multiples board is great , if you have any questions feel free to ask me anything too. You may or may not need a c section depending on positions etc. but it's good to learn all about it so your not surprised. Breast feeding is totally doable and I'm sure you will have no problem since you already have before.

    4 losses- MC in 2006, MMC in February 2012 at 12 weeks and MMC (twins) August 2016 at 12 weeks. Pregnant again- 11/7/16. Another loss on December 28, 2016.

    BFP April 23, 2017.  Our triple rainbow baby! EDD: January 2, 2018. It's a boy!
