I had never peed in any body of water until a couple of years ago when my DH said I was too prissy because I wouldn't pee in the lake one summer. It was hard, but I did it. Who's prissy now? (Me. I am.)
Never in a pool. My grandparents had a pool growing up and we hopped out, ran around the side of the house and peed. I've been peeing in lakes since I was three and no UTI issues!
I swam competitively my whole life and played water polo all the way thru college... Peeing in the pool came with the territory. As a result, I don't think it's weird or gross. (Neither do any of my past teammates...) judge away....
I did when I was swimming with the kids last summer. I would have to drag all of us out to go so I said whatever and peed. I don't make a habit of it. Kinda a one time thing.
Same as @Kellenhi21 and @smpeachey- competative swimmer and played water polo and syncro in high school and college. Getting out to pee wasn't exactly an option. I don't now- but it was a way of life then.
