This forum is the definition of bullying. I hope you're all proud of yourselves. I had a friend come on here and ask a question and after your responses she called her husband crying saying she no longer wants to TTC because she was told she knows nothing about fertility and conceiving and therefore can't be a fit parent. GOOD JOB. You're pathetic.

    I'm not ashamed of that so you can link whatever the hell you want. I can take a bunch of "crap" from strangers.  She on the other hand is a bit sensitive and doesn't have a ton of friends in her life, so when she got that kind of response here she took it harder than some might. So make fun of her or whatever you want to do but it just makes you more pathetic. Bullying on the internet is just as severe as in real life. If you want to make a joke of it I feel sorry for you.

     TTC since August 2011, Me = 40, DH = 38
    Unexplained IF. Tried Clomid for 3 cycles. All BFNs. BFP 1/6/13. Chemical pregnancy.

    Moving on to IVF#1. ER 11/26/13, 16 eggs retreived, 12 mature and all fertilized. 2 blasts transferred on 12/1. All other embies arrested so nothing left to freeze. Beta 12/10 = BFN. IVF #2 March 2014. BFP!!! TEAM BLUE!!!

    I think you need to learn what bullying is, this isn't it.

    Don't be ridiculous...Do you think I did that on purpose?  It was my computer. I hit post multiple times because I thought it was frozen.  I am not the controller of technology. I know the TOS.

    SOMEONE PLEASE give me an explanation as to how it is NOT mean that you all made a joke of her not knowing much about her fertility? Just because you all have been doing this longer does NOT make you better than her, and does NOT give you a right to do that to someone.

     

    What if you started a new job and everyone made fun of you on your first day because you didn't know what the hell you were doing?

    Yes, she should read up on it, talk to her doctor, but it is still pathetic to kick someone when they are down.

    First of all - there is a post where it clearly states "New to TTGP? Read this".  If she didn't read that, then obviously she doesn't know the 'rules' to the board.  She then didn't take the advice of well seasoned (or not so seasoned but just know about fertility and conception) women on this board and tried to make them seem like bullies.  I feel that YOU are your friend.  Get help.

    I'm not trolling. I'm not trying to do anything except tell you all how much you hurt her. Internet strangers or not.  She is truly upset and you CONTINUE to mock her for it.     My only point is, can't you be a TAD more understanding of newbies?  She didn't post a pee stick or ask if she was pregnant...those I get because the newb blog states not to.  But my goodness it's just ridiculous how you treat people sometimes.  I am not asking by ANY means to be nice to me..but just to others who come here looking for help. Maybe some of these people have no friends or have no money to see a doctor.

    If they don't have the money to see a doctor, then they're going to be in utter financial ruin when they have a child.  I'm not trying to be mean there.  Pregnancy, birth, and babies are very expensive.
    Ok maybe the money thing was a bad example. You just never know why people come here for advice, and the snark can get really mean. And this time it actually hurt someones feelings.
