(NBR) What to serve?

The Deacon from our church is coming to our house this evening at 7 to discuss LO's baptism. I feel like I have to have some sort of food to offer. We usually eat dinner around 7 but I don't think he's expecting a meal. Should I get some cheese and crackers? Or should I do more of a dessert... like coffee cake or pie?
