I have my regular apt today at 5:15 central. I've been so sick with a sinus infection my OB gave me a antibiotic a few days ago. I am still sick but not as bad as I was on Monday. So I will be happy to hear the baby today and forget about being sick for a bit.
Just had my 24 week OB check up, which was great. My practice has 5 doctors, and I got to meet one for the first time today. He was super nice, I'd be very happy if he ends up delivering me. Good luck everyone else!
Fetal echo tday, followed by ultrasound at MFM to check the bowels, kidney, and size. We won't hear anything about the heart today bc the Pediatric Cardiologist had a family emergency and had to fly out of state yesterday, and they don't know when she will be back. but we are still having the test done
Was supposed to have my 1-hr glucose test today, but it was cancelled due to snow! I'm definitely not complaining about not having to fast this morning
Well I did have an appt for a progesterone shot. However road conditions are terrible and I live 40 miles from the hospital so I had to reschedule for tomorrow. Anyone else so over winter at this point? I'm counting down the days until March. Atleast it's usually above freezing by then.
@jmar2011 Glad you are getting in for the testing even though you may have to wait a bit for the results, which is the hard part. FX and keep ya posted!
Just a regular OB checkup for me at 11:30 central.
After being divorced for 4 years, I'm finally going to start the name change process today. Appointment with the social security office. Back to my maiden name I go.
I am starting the name change process tomorrow! Picking up my married name!
Good luck ladies.

Good luck everyone! Had a regular 24 wk appt today, thank God everything is looking and measuring good. Next is 2 hour glucose test in 4 weeks! Eeekkk!
I went in this morning to get my holter monitor hooked up. Here's to hoping my heart does it's thang in the next 24 hours so I don't have to do this again!

Appointment was uneventful. HB 140's. Next time is the glucose test, March 7th.
I'm having major issues between social security office and DMV.
The SSA office is closed through the 18th.
I just had to go to SS office to get my name changed! I changed my DL in 2011 when we got married but seriously procrastinated on SS and now that it started to cause issues I had to get it done ASAP. Never fun lol
jmar2011 - lots of positive thoughts! I'm glad you're getting some answers - for better or worse! - so that you're able to start making some plans and moving forward!
I just want out of here right now. We can't plan anything until the cardiologist sees us next Thursday. So we now know there is a defect, and we are just waiting for her to come back from her emergency, so let me get out of here and get some burger king. Lol
Keep us updated!! And if you get to BK have a dutch apple pie and a Hershey pie for me!!!

@Jennylou604 I hope they catch what they need and that you stay as comfortable as possible wearing it.
Thanks! I've done this before about a year and a half ago. I hate that I can't take a shower until tomorrow after work, yuck. The worst part is trying to sleep with all this crap on :-q

@jmar2011, not sure if it's Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) but if it is, they're great there. My sons have both been treated there, nothing cardiac related, we were very happy with the care they received. Good luck with whatever they decide.

I believe that is one of the locations they are looking at! We are supposed to find out tomorrow or Monday where they have decided. We are hoping Louisville bc it is so close *fx* but we are happy to go wherever we need to
My classmate worked at CHOP for years, and absolutely loved it. She only left because her DH had a job promotion to California. Sorry it's not too close to you, but if you end up going to CHOP, I'm sure you'll have a wonderful experience. Best of luck!!!
We had our anatomy scan today. He (IT'S A HE!!!! I WAS RIGHT!!) seems to be weighing in at a pound and a half at 22 weeks. He was hiding behind my belly button for part of it so they didn't get to see parts of his heart and some of his brain so we have to return in 4 weeks for a followup ultrasound.
@CDK211 Yikes for restart of labor! Your infections really don't like antibiotics huh?!?!?!?! Praying this next round does the trick!!
@Jmar2011 I'm glad that you have at least gotten answers. I know it sucks to hear anything is wrong with your little guy but I am glad you have a good team of dr's that are making a good plan for you!
@LoHerrim My oldest had a GI infection so bad that was so bad that it presented as all the symptoms of appendicitis! It was so scary but thankfully I knew the dr personally and he didn't want to jump the gun. The infection had gone around the school and the health department was even called in because it was so wide spread. I remember the fart bombs for sure!
Had my regular OB appointment today... HR in the 140s, fundal height measuring 2 weeks ahead... I gained two pounds which my grand total weight gain is a whopping one pound. I can do my GD test anytime within the next 4 weeks.... I'm getting anxious to see what my little man will look like.
We had our anatomy scan yesterday but didn't look at the sex results until last night with family and friends. We're waiting on official results but everything looked good from what we understand and it all feels so much more real now that we've seen our boy look like a little human and move around!
TTC #1 since Sept. 2012
Me: 28, DH: 31 DH: Diagnosed low-T and low sperm count, put on Clomid
We had our A/S earlier today, and found out that we are going to have another little boy running around soon. Overall, everything went well. Baby boy is measuring almost perfectly on track, heartbeat of 139, brain, heart, etc. looking good. The only thing that was a bit off was that right now he has a bit of kidney dilation (Hydronephrosis) going on. The doctor said that it is a fairly common defect at this point, and that in a lot of cases, resolves on its own prior to birth so here's hoping that that is the case for us.
Anyway, glad to hear that everyone's appointments went well for the most part...glad that you received some answers today @jmar2011 and praying for your son as well as his doctors as they come up with his treatment plan; hoping that your son, @LoHerrim, feels much better soon; hoping that your respective meds kick in quickly and do their job @CDK211 and @fuccimama; and hoping that the doctors are able to get the readings that they need @Jennylou0604.
Thoughts and prayers. I go today for echo. At 20 week anatomy they saw some fluid around the baby heart. What was the cause that made your doctors concerned in the beginning about your baby?
Re: Thursday Anatomy Scans and Appointments
I'm sorry about your little boy. I hope they figure it out and he feels better soon.
