AW strutting.. One of my clients won a national award because of my work and wrote a fantastic testimonial about me and my company which the president forwarded to everyone I work with. Not only that, but I have the potential to pull in another 1000+ clients in on a conference call that the president is sitting in on this afternoon. I love it when they think I shit ice cream.

Also, I'm not really sure where I'm supposed to be writing about what, so if I have an opinion that's not *unpopular* per se, but people don't give a fuck about it?

For example, WTF is up with not understanding the threads on the correct days of the week, even accounting for time zones, I see when you post and I am *positive* that you are not doing it on the correct day. Just save it on your computer and wait until the next week!!

This was my UO today. They aren't always completely unpopular.

Sorry, @jessa8907, I went over to check out UO to find what the penis thing was about only after I posted this and then wanted to smack myself... kind of. But it's still a totally valid complaint in 500 different threads. Perhaps if we put a warning on each of the "daily" ones then people would listen, but I doubt it.

On the old format posts got locked at 1000. We had a lot on the Parenting board that made it there and it was always a contest to see who could get the last post in. I'm not sure if there's a limit with the new format though.

I had about a half a pound of lasagna for dinner and then cried when I weighed myself and had gained 6lbs in two weeks. Then I went to sleep, woke up, took a glorious dump and reweighed. Only 2lbs, not 6! Happy day.

DHs best friend is having a bday party tomorrow. I'm going to be very cranky if I have to go. I love him but his friends are weird, he lives and hour and a half away, I can't drink, and his gf's brother is the biggest drunk asshole I've ever met. The one time I met him he was passed out drunk, then woke up and was trying to fight everybody (his own friends). If he is there and starts acting like that, I am not holding my tongue.

I don't want to see that piece of shit, I don't want to play or watch people play video games, I don't want to play board games that involve wizards or dragons, and I don't want to attempt to make conversation with people I have nothing in common with. Somebody call the wahhhhhmbulance.

Random thing #2 for today:

What are your feelings on 2 middle names? For instance, DH is very determined to use 2 middle names if this LO is a boy. His reasoning is "if we never have another boy, I won't get to use both names." :-< They're both family names and equally nice, but I really don't like this idea (can't put my finger on why).

Do any of you have 2 middle names? If so, how does that work out for you IRL? Any complications or complaints? What about hyphenating the 2 middles?

Anyone else think pregnancy is actually making you MORE attractive while naked? I am sure you are all dying to know, but I do not look great naked. Stretchmark City from getting jumbo hips too fast.. Also somehow stretchmarks on my formerly (tiny) boobs (really, skin? it was that hard for you to stretch for those tiny mole hills?!), oh, and I'm so pale white that a lot of my veins show through. In other words, I'm practically a playboy centerfold over here ;-)

But this whole pregnancy situation is turning things around. For the first time in my life I have BOOBS. Also, the gradual rounding of my belly is taking the attention off my jumbo hips. Oh, and I might be "glowing." This morning instead of quasi-shuddering when I saw myself in the mirror, I was all "Daaaaaaaang, girl! You actually look like a woman!" Too bad DH is missing all this action ;-)

I feel ya @tallmomma29! Other than the extra stretch marks all over my belly, I think my body looks hot! My pregnant belly makes the rest of me look skinny, and my boobs are even looking perkier, which blows my mind. Gotta love them stem cells! Haha.

Honestly, my opinion is that middle names don't matter all that much. I'm having the hardest time caring about what we choose for middle names this time around. I don't have a problem at all with two middle names, but I wouldn't hyphenate. I'm sure eventually your child will just pick the first or the favorite to use on most documents.

Really.... just about nobody knows my middle name. Think about how many people in your day to day life know what yours is.

I feel quite good about my pregnancy look as well! It's mostly because of the belly! I've always loved baby bumps on anyone and I'm proud to strut mine off

I guess I didn't realize you don't have to use both of your middle names at all times. I was thinking when a document requires your full name you'd have to list all 4 names. Was also wondering if initialling a document would require all 4?

I have a long name and those darn scantron tests in school/college were about the end of me with all the little bubbles! @-) I ran out of room sometimes. I call DD by both of her names a lot and am wondering how I'd pull that off, but I'm sure I'd adjust.

I think I'll just let DH have his way if LO is a boy. He's terribly worried it might be the only one and wants to honor 2 special men (one of them being my dad). He's being super sweet about it. He usually gets his way when he does that.

DH didn't have to do in to work (yay!) but he can't stand sitting home all day so he went to the store. He came home with flowers, pepperidge farm cookies, a snickers bar, and taylor ham. Best. Husband. Ever.

No long limbed-ness here, but I know what y'all mean. Pregnant (once the belly pops) is the only time in my life I haven't despised my stomach. While I am beyond thrilled we're now having a little girl, I'm a little sad that it most likely means this is my last pregnancy...

My son's full name has 23 letters. We didn't really think about length when we chose his name. We just picked what we liked. Now that he's in preschool, it is becoming more difficult :-)

This is a whiny complainy mess of words...feel free to scroll on by.

I went to bed last night at 10:30pm.

12:00am - Dog 1 had to go outside (we are in the process of changing food, so I understand), so down the stairs and outside we went

1:00am - Dog 2 is losing her mind because her blanket fell off and she was trying to recover herself, so I had to get up and recover her

2:00am - Dog 1 had to go outside again

3:00am - CAT FIGHT - noisy mess of cats screaming at each other - DH threw a slipper at them

4:00am - DH had a work call, so he had to get up and go downstairs

5:00am - DH finished his call and came back to bed

I did sleep like a rock from 5:30am-8am. But I'm cranky. Or whatever is the next step beyond cranky. I was holding out hope that we would keep power, but lose cable/internet so I could just spend the day in bed. But we didn't, so I had to work all day. Booo! Someone call me a wambulance.

For a split second I was thinking of giving our kid two middle names, because I didn't change my last name when I got married and I thought it might be neat for them to have my last name as a second middle. But DH's last name is already two words (Van last name), so we figured that five words would definitely be pushing it!

Tomorrow is going to be the lamest V-Day of all time. We normally make a really nice dinner, DH will do the entree and I'll do the dessert. Then we'll try to be more romantic than just sitting on the couch on our laptops watching tv like normal. Even with the addition of DS, we were able to have a nice one last year. This year we don't really have the budget for a nice meal (this has been an expensive month due to a friend's wedding), I can't eat much that I would really want anyways to due to GD, and the same friend might actually be staying with us tomorrow night. Also...sexy time is about the last damn thing I want to engage in and I know DH will be expecting a BJ...gag!

I am sick of having to pee all the time......and I am sick of being iced in. Today I have done the routine clean up, laundry, swept, mopped, scrubbed all bathrooms, scrubbed base boards, washed outlets and light switches, wiped down the base boards, took a long bath, read a book, watched my favorite movie and read a billion posts on here. I'm so over it.
