Update this morning was not good. My second opinion was a different result WTF

Ladies, this morning I updated that I went to my RE and he said their was no heartbeat and to go to the ER. My husband took me to ER and they found a HR of 106??? On Friday it was 102 so in 5 days I don't think that is a positive sign but wow, talk about getting a 2nd opinion. The baby had also only grown by 2 days instead of 5. We are expecting the worst but talk about the unexpected

    I had the opposite experience - I went to the ER due to a high fever while heavy bleeding and they found no heartbeat. The next morning, there was a heartbeat at my OB's office. It still ended in a miscarriage, but that roller coaster was awful. I'm sorry you're going through it and hope you get answers soon!

    2016: Baby girl stillborn at 21w6d 4/29 and baby boy stillborn at 20w 3d 11/16

    The hospital where my RE is doesn't do DNC. My OB was on call at a different hospital and they said go to the ER and tell them I'm his patient.The ER gave me ultrasound while I was there. No heavy bleeding, just brown but cramping pretty badly

    I agree, the roller coaster of emotions is awful. But a 106 HR is not a great sign so we aren't holding our breath. There's a teeny glimmer of hope

    How many weeks are you? (I am mobile).

    If you are 5th or 6th week, that hr isn't necessarily bad. Bizarre an RE would miss it though.

    I don't put a lot of faith in u/s measurements. They can have a swing of +/- 4 to 5 days early on. A mm difference in where they click is all it takes.

    Not going to sugarcoat it, a hr on the low side (assuming you are 6.5w plus) and growth on the slow side aren't the best signs...but you aren't out yet. Brown spotting is scary, but not a sure sign things are going badly either. How bad is the cramping? Mild/moderate is normal. Bad/severe is not.

    FX you have a miracle in there!
