Heart defects

I found out today that my baby boy has an obstruction in his heart and coarctation of the aorta. The doctors said he will need medication to slow his heart down and possibly surgery when he's born. Needless to say I'm worried and not sure how to cope.. Is anyone going through something similar?

    That is hard news :( hopefully everything will turn out well. From what I understand heart defects is one of the most common defects so they should know what they are doing.
