Crazy eventful day with lots of doctors rushing me. It's a long story and I will type it all out later. After a lot of hospital monitoring I was whisked out for an ASAP c-section. He arrived at 4:52 pm, 5 lbs 2 oz, 16.5 inches. We still haven't decided on a name. :)

I haven't really seen him, but I'm told he looks healthy! Oxygen saturation is very good for his condition. They approved him to go straight to the Level II nursery, but it is completely full. He'll go to the NICU until a bed opens. He's getting a bunch of testing now and once my legs work a bit better they are taking me to meet him. I'm very excited. :)

Update: darn it! I just typed a full story and it froze and erased it! It's so hard on my phone. Shorter story: I had contractions and in monitoring they discovered he couldn't tolerate them. We don't know why but he kept having major decelerations and after wavering about what to do a bunch the doctor said we are doing this NOW. I will save the full birth story for after you FTMs have your babies so as not to scare. It was not a fun process, but he is here and healthy. Even more so than we expected!

I finally got to see him and promptly fell asleep holding him. Haha, so it was very brief. I get to try and breast feed today and I'm very excited! He had a quick scan last night and is having a bigger full echo this morning. I'm anxious to hear the results. The only issue is he is having a hard time with his blood sugar. I'm not sure what that means but the nurses don't seem happy about it. I'm going to question the doctors today.

And a picture!!
