okay silly sex-baby question but curious

in 3rd Trimester
My baby was head down and I had begun to dilate- last nighyth my husband and I had sex and he was on top and I felt like he was "squishing" the baby- then I felt her either kick hard or actually slide up and against my lungs/ribs.  Now I don't feel like she is head down- is it possible that the baby is now no longer head down and I won't continue to dilate?

    The baby can flip anytime, so I guess the answer is yes.  Just pay attention to your kicks and jabs today, and if you are lucky the hiccups - they should tell you where the baby is.

    Ugh- thanks- I was so excited we were dilating and now I feel down that that may stop- sigh

    Don't worry, I had that feeling a few weeks ago - that the baby had flipped back to breech, but was wrong when I realized I was getting hiccups low still.  Good luck.

    Dialating can take a long time...with my first I spent weeks dialating before actually starting full contractions and labor so don't get down on yourself about it. It all just takes time. As said in PP just listen to your body and baby will let you know.
