I actually have a random question. Do you guys organize your gifs so that they are easily accessible or do you just remember where you found them in the first place?

This website is my first introduction to gifs in forum use and I'm wondering how quickly and perfectly everyone else is able to bring them into the conversation. Like, you always have the perfect gf for the perfect situation

Maybe you guys have a secret gif-cache I don't know about

I bought "Gummy Bear" scented dog shampoo to get our foster ready to meet her potential forever family last week. Nevermind that we already have "strawberry yogurt" and a homemade lavender/tea tree shampoo. On the bright side, they love her... and Sunday she will be leaving us forever (I cry every time I say this and I keep hoping the more I say it I will eventually not cry?).

I remembered this morning that I had promised to make DH homemade pizza yesterday... so I apologized to him for forgetting and he openly said how disappointed he had been when he came home yesterday, expecting pizza, and it wasn't there. Apparently he even checked the oven "just in case" I had hid it.

Oh, also, I had a sex dream about my ex yesterday... and not going to lie, it was fucking amazing.

I feel like the worst foster mom/wife/person in general these days.

That's what I've been doing thus far but I was wondering if A) People just knew about more gifs then I did or

Google better phrases to get the right gifs.

I'll probably just have to amp up my searches. Thanks!

How does crying make you the worst foster mom ever?? Crying makes you a great one! It means you invested in the dog, gave him what he needed and helped him find his forever home. If you don't fall in love with each dog, you aren't doing as good as a job as you could be. They thrive on love and have had their lives in shambles - either because they were strays or because the family they knew have them up. Love is what they need! They need what you are giving them. Crying is ok :-) (and there is a chance that I made myself tear up writing that)

Ugh. That's awful. I'm on another forum too and one young woman was posting about a sensitive subject and needed advice and someone posted a picture of an aborted fetus in response. I flagged the shit out of it, offered her several paragraphs of why that's shitty and reported it to the moderators.

I bought DH a box of chocolate for Valentine's Day and the only thing stopping me from opening it and eating them myself right now is the fact that the weather is going to be crappy tomorrow and I won't be able to replace it.

It's an awful thing to see at any time, but magnified by a bajillion when you are pregnant. I was just really shocked that it was literally the 1st image shown. I think I'll wander over to the Reddit Cute forum so I can soak up some frolicking puppies ♥♥♥

I highly suggest CNN distraction as well. Always puppies and kittens licking babies. It's a beautiful thing

Oh I thought of another one. I am OBSESSED with Langers Cranberry-Pomegranate juice. DH started calling it "cranberry crack" when he bought me a 64oz bottle and the next day it was gone. I know the sugar is bad for me but I just can't stop drinking it. It's just the right combo of tart and sweet...I think I have a problem.

I love my job so much. Not trying to brag or anything but I get to watch my 3 year old godson all day and he is the sweetest little thing. I am laying down with him right now to try to get him down for a nap...he grabbed my face and kissed me 5 times and said "i love you Infiniti" I hope my own baby loves me as much as him.

@pup4gdb, Every time I think of "packing her bags" I get sad... I then envision a little suitcase with her name and paw print on the side... with her hoodie, and coat, and balls inside.

I'm so happy for her, she deserves a permanent home... but I'll miss her.

I do this too, but with just regular cranberry juice. I put half-juice/half-water in my glass, though. Both to cut down the sugar, and to cut down the strong taste... I'm not a sugar person.

Have you seen the clip from the Queen Latifah show that's floating around FB, with the soldier being reunited with her dog?? I am such a mess like 30 seconds in that I can't finish watching it. I get how the person would be feeling, but thinking of the dog's reaction and anticipating that kills me. Holy crap! I can't even mention that without bawling. I really want to watch the video, but I just can't.

I can't watch anymore animal clips... I cry waaaay too much these days. I know we're doing a good thing... our first foster went to a family member, so we still visit him. She will be going to a *stranger*. They're really nice though... *sigh* She'll also be our last foster for a while (putting our dog through CGC and Therapy now that she's old enough hopefully before V2 gets here), so we're essentially taking a foster home out of rotation which also makes me miserable.

A friend of mine posted that pro-life abortion video, too. It started playing and when I tried to stop it I just opened it bigger. I "hid" that friend and immediately started bawling. I thought I might throw up. Poor DH just kept patting my hair and saying, "It's OK... the baby is just fine... our baby is perfect." It was not a pretty morning.

I don't care how strong your opinion is on that issue, IMO it is never appropriate to post something like that where people can't avoid it (and I wish FB wouldn't just start the vidoes). At least post a "warning" or link it to your page so one could choose to go view it. Ruined my day. X_X

I'm sorry you girls had to experience this, too.

ETA: I'm apparently having word issues today, too.

I can't get myself to actually work. It's bad. There is so much to do, and I just have no desire to do it. It's actually crossed my mind multiple times that I should just take unpaid leave for the rest of my pregnancy. Why? I don't have any actual symptoms (besides pregnancy brain) keeping me from working, I just have absolutely no will or motivation to work. None of my pep talks to myself are working. Worries about losing my job if I don't get things done also not working...

I have this "crazy" urge to paint all of the unpainted rooms in the house, make new throw pillows, decorate the nursery, learn how to cook before DH gets back (he's usually the chef here), etc. In other words, pregnancy is apparently turning me into a homemaker.

However, because I "should" be working, I don't do any of those homemaker things, and I also don't get much work done. I've been accomplishing virtually nothing most days for the last few weeks. Help me, Dr. Somebody!

Yeah, sooo... those pro-lifers with the huge signs used to go outside my high school.. during drop off time, on both sides of the entrances. There's no way you could ride a bus to school and not see it. I think the sickest part of it is having small children hold a huge billboard of images like that.
