I found this song a few years ago, and have just recently rediscovered it with new eyes, now that I'm pregnant.

I'm curious what the rest of you think of it! Offensive? Hilarious? Stupid?

Have you come across people who feel the same way as Garfunkel and Oates (the singers)?

It is both hilarious and true. Some pregnant women are ridiculous. It's Ok. We can admit it.

I thought it was hilarious when I first found it, and still do! But I have also come to realize that I am probably guilty of saying or at least thinking, some of the 'smug' things in the video... Particularly the 'Oh, we know, but we're not telling,' bit. We plan on being team yellow and keeping the name secret until the baby is born. I guess that makes me smug?

If that's the case, I will embrace the smug! And continue to laugh at this video.

I posted the video on Facebook and a mutual friend FLIPPED. She's the type to keep everything a secret just to bug people, has every single symptom to the extremes !!
Called me rude and "you have no idea how hard it is to be pregnant. It's like a full time job. You'll never be able to do it. I had to quit my job!"
Lmao. Oh well. I laughed.
(Haven't told anyone I'm pregnant.)

I was *just* laughing over this song with my BF - totally caught myself on the "as long as it's healthy" bit the other day. Embarrassingly accurate! Garfunkel and Oates are some funny ladies.
