In 2 days we'll know the sex of nugget. I'm just hoping he or she cooperates. When will you find out the sex?

    I get my anatomy scan January 13 and my doc does the 3D/4D in office so they do that as well.

    2D/3D ultrasound on Monday(YAY) and I'll have my anatomy scan in late Jan.

    We hope to find out the sex of the baby on Monday, but if not, we'll have a nice DVD of LO to show the family for Christmas.

    Ours isn't scheduled yet. I have an appt next Weds and assume we'll discuss it then. I'm thinking it will probably be late January.

    Agreed!!  I'll be 20 weeks the week before that and it does seem very far away.  There are some great 3d/4d places around where I live but I'm just so nervous to get the doctor to sign the consent form early that I'm just waiting until we can find out at the doctor's office.  Why do I have to be such a nervous Nelly?!?!

    Just scheduled the anatomy scan for January 7.  Hopefully the baby cooperates.  We are going to celebrate a late Christmas with my family that weekend and I would really love to be able to share the news with them in person.

    Hopefully we'll find out the week of Feb. 7-11.  That's 20 weeks and I would like to schedule it for that week.  If so, DH will find out at the appointment and then let me know on the 11th for my birthday gift!

    It seems like a lot of people wait until 20 weeks; is this by choice or is that when your dr. writes the RX for?

    I felt the same way... I don't know why I was sooo nervous about asking her to sign a silly consent form but I stressed ALL day over it Tuesday when I had my appt.... I just told her we made an appt. and that we really wanted to be able to surprise our families with this over Christmas since they all live so far away from us and I felt this is one of the few ways to help our families feel involved since we don't live close . And then I just handed her the form... Most dr's generally don't have a problem with this because its YOUR choice. She signed the form and didn't seem to have a problem with it other than saying that it would probably look more alien like this early but my response was "I know, but its my little alien!" . If you really want one, I hope you will muster up the courage and just ask! Nothing to be nervous about.

    We go Saturday morning for our Elective 3d gender scan too!!! Wahoo! Can't wait, BUT I'm soooo nervous! We have 3 boys and want a girl! But, if it's a boy that is just great too!! A healthy baby is what everyone wants and I'm no dif :) Just want a healthy girl this time lol!!!

    I find out January 11th and CAN'T WAIT! I asked for an elective u/s this week at my appointment and the office policy is that they won't do a gender scan u/s until 18 weeks! :( Bummer! I was hoping to surprise my hubby with a boys or girls outfit for Christmas!
