My peri-whatever high risk guy didnt just prescribe me Ativan he instructed (not suggested or recommended) that I take it every night. I'm at 36 weeks and I have a serious neurological disease that's getting worse as the pregnancy progresses. Not being able to sleep is dramatically making my symptoms worse. At this point it's starting to be very real to me that I may not be able to get up if I go full term.
I'm not questioning his judgement and I'm gonna take it, but it's starting to scare me that measures like this are having to be taken.
He also said I may need to be catheterized for an extended period during and after labor because it may not be safe for me to get up.
And I HAVE to use a walker for awhile.
Just needed to vent and figured this was the board for it.
