How are you losing?

My BFing oversupply is staying steady (though improved) with EIGHT HOUR BLOCKS. That's right, I completely ignore a breast for 8 hours and deal with that discomfort all day trying to get it to GO THE F AWAY. Did I mention this is just in my right breast? My tits look like they belong on 2 different people.

Yesterday all day J ate every 2 hours. The house looked like a nuclear bomb exploded.

The last 2 weeks have been killer with boob problems and a very fussy kid.... I go back to work in 2 weeks (part time for 3 weeks). At this point I'm actually kind of looking forward to it.

OHH, and we haven't had sex in 10 months. I've been cleared for over a week and the one time it was even a thought in my brain J instantly started screaming.

ETA: AND HE WON'T SMILE FOR ME! He smiles when he poops, sleeps, gets milk drunk. But never a social smile at me. Le sigh.

I'm still bleeding at 5 weeks and haven't shaved in 4. Oh, and i haven't put on deodorant in about the same since i don't feel she needs to bee that closer to all those chemicals. I'm a sexy beast.

I only wash my hair twice a week, tops. It's so dry, it is out of control if I wash it more frequently. So I washed it on Sunday. And then the baby spit up into it yesterday. A lot.

I'll probably wash it again on Thursday.

I'm also still bleeding [5 weeks on Thursday] and haven't shaved since I got admitted for my induction [5 weeks tomorrow]. I have a dress fitting on Friday for a wedding, though, so I have to shave. Sigh.

I really need to clean the bathrooms. I hate cleaning the bathrooms.

I'm also not washing my hair much. Like once a week. And when I do I don't blowdry it so it's just a straw like rats nest. My dog is driving me nuts. It's too cold for her to cruise the backyard so she just spends all day pestering me, licking herself, or licking the carpet. Sick.

I haven't shaved in five weeks, dd is still eating ever hour and 45 min to 2 hours (which I know can be normal but she had a week where she was every three hours... It was nice)

I haven't cleaned my bathrooms since DD was born. I keep saying I will do them but I haven't yet. Plus it has been so cold my DS is getting antsy to go outside and we have had way too much disney jr on

My best friend visited last week from DC for three days and it was terrible. Just a stree-filled, frustrating, bad visit that has me completely worried about our friendship and on the brink of tears constantly.

I have to go back today to a classroom of 5 year olds that I haven't seen since September! It's a complete disaster with broken and missing materials that I'm going to have to clean up, replace, and reorganize, all while my precious baby is being watched by a stranger at daycare!

Emme got admitted Saturday for pneumonia. H has been at the hospital with her since and I've been home with Ellie because we aren't allowed to be around her or the hospital. I have done nothing at home because Ellie also decided that the last few days was the best time to start eating every hour and a half. They should be home today since her O2 sats are finally in the mid-90s without being on O2 support.

So I'm basically losing at life right now.

I wash my hair 3 times/week which doesn't work well since I have curly hair, but I don't bother unless I'm going somewhere and even then it gets thrown into a messy ponytail. I finally shaved since DS was born 2 weeks ago but since I'm not getting any action I won't shave again until my 4 week pp visit. I'm so tired I have no desire to do anything other than BF, change diapers and yeah that's about it.

DS won't sleep unless I'm in the room. He eats every three hours but is awake for at least an hour and a half if not longer.

He's also got an intolerance to the formula he used to be on so he hasn't pooped in days and he screams for 90% of the day. And H is finding any reason to leave the house so it's just me and little man.

I've also done nothing truly productive in about a week now.

@MindyBadger1 and @Amylou333 She is doing much better as of yesterday. We are waiting for the dr to round but there's a good chance she'll come home today. We have everything crossed.

@ovenrack one night we were both exhausted so I BF her lying down and we both feel asleep. I woke up to her using my deflated boob as a pillow.

@RedSaffron: Me! If I could actually fall asleep within, say, half an hour every time I had the opportunity, I'd actually be getting a reasonable amount of sleep. But when you have a 3-hour block of time to sleep and it takes two hours to fall asleep, that doesn't work out so well.

And twice last night Peanut pulled the same trick: Fall asleep. Dead asleep. Put him down, still dead asleep. Fifteen minutes later, start HOWLING. Pick him up, immediately dead asleep again. He was perfectly fine and just didn't want to sleep in a bed. He thinks I'm going to let him get in the habit of sleeping in someone's arms all night long, he got another think coming.

DH is on the eve shift and doesn't get off until 8am now.... Squishy has started this new routine where, from 3 to 5 in the morning, she screams non stop. Usually DH is the one to take that shift since I have her all day. I miss him

Granted, DS isn't yet 2 weeks old but I have yet to spend more than 3 hours alone with both LOs. Frankly I'm terrified of having to watch them both by myself. DS never wants to be put down and if I do DD is all over him and way too rough.

I may have won yesterday but totally losing today. Baby girl wants to eat every two hours and cries while I pump and won't stop until I hold her. She hates the k'tan plus after trying both the extra small and small, I'm pretty sure I'm in between sizes. I somehow managed to eat lunch but have been unable to refill my water bottle and I'm so thirsty. I'm so looking forward to DH getting home so there's someone else to hold DD.

Last night, DS was fussier than normal and worked up. After I changed his diaper, I decided to feed him (EBF). He was so mad, he reached out scratched my nipple (NB nails are the worst) and proceeded to grasp it. Needless to say, nursing from my left side has left me in tears multiple times today. Ugh...

I got spit up on (in big ways) twice today. I'm in my second outfit....
I usually don't do the cooking but figured I'd give it a go b/c I'm home all day. So far I'm 0-2 on meals being good... let's hope tonight goes better.

@mnfarmgal, my LO has scratched my boobs and nips more times than I can count! Plus I have thrush so that REALLY hurts. I started putting little mittens on him before feeding him. Maybe give that a try?

@xan84 The mittens do help! However, prior to last night's incident I plain old forgot to put them on him. From here on out, I probably won't be as forgetful! Hope your thrush clears up soon!

Losing: finally getting out with a friend skipping dd's nap time which is also mine to come home to her cluster feeding and being incredibly fussy and unable to sit down. Also DH is at the recording studio tonight so I'm home alone.

I feel like I've listed five losings today. Apparently it's just a bad day....

DS has been really hungry all afternoon, which would be fine except I'd realllly love a nap before dh goes into work tonight. And he keeps waking up screaming? Not a little fussing first either, 0 to 60 straight away. We thought something bit him the first time but nope, just screaming. Stops as soon as he's picked up.
