I wouldn't call poison control if he got one in his mouth but I definitely wouldn't willingly let him eat them. It's not like they're just soaked in water, kwim?
B is also obsessed with wipes and constantly tries to put them in his mouth. I traded him a wipe for a wet wash cloth - he is happy as a clam and I know that it is just water on that thing.
Besides the ingredients, I would also be more concerned about it coming apart in their mouths or being a choking hazard. I don't understand this question. My LO is obsessed with putting anything in her mouth that she isn't supposed to.
I'm pretty sure there's nothing L wouldn't chew on given the chance. I don't let him play with the wipes though, actually I try not to even get them on his hands/feet because he sucks on those. His Nana wiped his face with wipes one day when she was babysitting and by the time I picked him up his cheeks were tomato red.
Like others said, mine also loves to put everything in his mouth, especially if it is something wet. I give him washcloth to chew on. I wouldn't let him chew on the wipe, and I don't use butt wipes on his face or hands. I use Boogie wipes or wet paper towels for his face.
