Even though a simple, "I'm sorry" in the thread (which is still active and she's still posting in, btw) would have done the trick, instead of drawing even more attention to it here. And anyways, most of the outcry there had to do with something completely different than the OP.

Well, you bitched at me in that thread for something I said to someone else, for something that had nothing to do with you, because either you didn't read all the responses or you simply didn't understand them. So maybe you can start a completely new thread with an apology directed only at me.

Or you could drop it and move on with your life and it will all be forgotten in a day. Your choice.

I think that might have been me that had called OP for a public apology. I also think I had criss-crossed in the course of reading the whole thread who had said the comment about Trisomy 18 and it turns out that wasn't even the OP it was someone else. Regardless, apologies are always appropriate as long as they are heart felt.

OP, I actually think it was nice of you to own up and apologize, and I don't think it was AWish of you to post an apology in a separate thread (although I also understand why some people would rather you just drop it). So thank you.

In the future, just owning up to mistakes in the same thread is the ideal way to go.

TBH, I totally forgot you were even involved in that thread (luckily for you most of the anger was directed at the princess).
