1. What baby is this for you?
This is our second

2. Do you know the sex/name of the baby yet?
Nope, we are solidly team green! Loved it last time and can't wait to have that delivery room moment again. No names, we suck.

3. What took you so long to intro?
I'm mostly mobile and keep up on FB with the Dec '12 BMB but needed to get back to TB for this baby for sure.

4. What's your favorite part of our BMB?
I love when people can realize all the love that is behind the snark. I've found a ridiculous amount of support on TB in the past as well as tons of fun. Plus, where else could I put this GIF?

5. When you're not bumping, what are your other hobbies?
Working as a para in a Kindergarten classroom (certified teacher but being a para works for our family right now), playing with my 14mo son and hanging out with my hot husband. I like to run when not KU (too lazy) and I pretend to be into crafty/home decor stuff.

6. Anything else you care to share?

3. What took you so long to intro? I lurked and started posting in July until my due date got changed to June. Then I moved here to lurk and kept feeling weird about just jumping into conversations, so I kept lurking. Eventually I realized I was halfway done and it was kind of now or never, so I got over myself and intro'd.

4. What's your favorite part of our BMB? This is a super supportive group of ladies and I'm excited to actually participate. Also- gifs. 5. When you're not bumping, what are your other hobbies? Hanging out with my dog and DH, shopping, reading, cooking, and making music

More lurker than newbie, but I don't feel like working on the presentation I'm supposed to give tomorrow, so here goes:

1. What baby is this for you?

First baby! I'm thrilled and terrified.

2. Do you know the sex/name of the baby yet?

Team blue. ETA: the name? It will be a miracle if DH and I can agree on the name while the baby is still inside of me.

3. What took you so long to intro?

I AM AN IMPORTANT EXECUTIVE AND DO NOT HAVE TIME. Just kidding. I do work a lot though, and also don't have a smartphone (I have hippie tendencies), so my Bump reading has been sporadic. Felt better lurking and getting an idea of the board before posting much, and even then, have mostly restricted my posts to directly adding input where I think I can be helpful. Just now getting into the idea of being a not-lurker.

4. What's your favorite part of our BMB?

The gifs, the diversity of opinions, and the saltiness of the hoes.

5. When you're not bumping, what are your other hobbies?

I am a mad scientist by day, and when I have the time, I like to travel, knit, bake, and do artsy stuff. I used to love running, then this baby came along and has sucked all of the energy out of me.

6. Anything else you care to share?

Sorry my username is so long. I made it when I joined The Knot a billion years ago, and did not anticipate having to actually use it for anything.

Ill play along!

1. What baby is this for you? numero uno!

2. Do you know the sex/name of the baby yet? it's a boy! And his name is Robert Michael III but Bobby for short. However, also considering Trip (for triple) but my husband thinks its no 'nicknamey'

3. What took you so long to intro? I spent a lot of time on everdayfamily.com and whattoexpect.com but a girlfriend who just had a little boy told me she used her bump month board a lot and made some great friends and suggested I give it a try. I lurked for about a week before saying hello:)

4. What's your favorite part of our BMB? I would have to say its a tie between the amount of support and love you all show each other and the funny but helpful threads about everyday stuff that I can totally relate to.

5. When you're not bumping, what are your other hobbies? Im a nerd and love DIY projects. So far we've built and painted a dresser (now Im working on cute nobs) and refinished an antique desk to use as a changing table for the nursery.

6. Anything else you care to share? Im newly married 7.21.13 but we dated for over 7 years before getting hitched. We wanted to wait till marriage to get pregnant and didn't wait long! I was pregnant less than 2 months after the wedding:)

Im also excited to see there are other newbies here too! I thought I would be all alone this late in the game!! Welcome ladies!

Hey! I've wanted to do an intro but i never got around to it so

3. I never know what to say or how to start!

4. I like the snark and compassion. I'd rather get honest answers over sugar coated nonsense. This board is good with that!

5. I like to read.

6. I'm a bit of a crazy cat lady. I work at a residential program with teens and young adults ( i refer to them as children because i feel like a mom to them). Most of our kiddos have autism, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder or borderline personally disorder. They all have some cognitive delay they are 12 to 22 but function at 5 to 13 year old level, and histories of trauma and abuse. i only hope that working there for 7 years has given me the patience and resources to be a good mom! Also the iPhone auto capitalizing 'i' has ruined my ability to do it myself.

2. Do you know the sex/name of the baby yet? It's a boy! We only know what we DON'T want to name him so far, ha.

3. What took you so long to intro? Never actually did a formal intro... but I've commented several times and I read most of the posts daily. This girl loves to lurk.

4. What's your favorite part of our BMB? The salty hoes, duh. I love the passion, snark, and most of all the support everyone has for each other.

5. When you're not bumping, what are your other hobbies? Hiking, baking, loving on my fur baby, and traveling. This LO has been all over the country.

6. Anything else you care to share? I am 25, been married to DH for 10 months (but together for almost 6 years), and we're in the process of buying our first home! Also, I've had bad luck with gifs and siggy stuff, but I won't give up. Doesn't help that I'm almost exclusively on mobile. Sooo does this kinda count as an intro? :-P

So I saw the word taco and thought I would find an image of a giant taco to post. I so innocently go to Google to search for one and the first link was giant cheese taco and I was like, "Yes! This will be perfect!" and I clicked on it. Shitballs, yo. Second biggest mistake of my life.

This shit makes the lemon party seem tame. Take it from me and don't make the same mistake I did. You have been warned!

3. What took me so long to intro? I'm pretty sure I didn't do one officially. But I've been on more now and really like it here so why not right?

4. What's my favorite part of the BMB?
The support and witty humor and useful preggo advice! I love memes but will master the art of the Gif before March. I have goals.

5. When I'm not bumping what am i doing? Cooking, I cook a lot, spending time with family and friends, traveling and going to lots of weddings and showers, hunting, napping, playing with my dogs and cat, trying to organize and decorate my house.

6. Anything else I care to share?
I'm a dual diagnosis therapist and specialize in the treatment of multiple mental illnesses, I love my job and work in the schools and outpatient.

I come from a family of 8 crazy people and we all love to eat and cook.

I love gingers; DH is a ginger.

I'm obsessed with weiner dogs.

I speak French but am a bit rusty these days

1. What baby is this for you? Number 2.

2. Do you know the sex/name of the baby yet? We got a HUGE surprise last week - after 2 ultrasounds by 2 doctors (one of which does sonography reading full time and is one of the best in the state of Texas according to my OB) we found out that our she was actually a he! I about fell off the table. His name will be Everett, not sure on middle name yet.

3. What took you so long to intro? Intro's are not my style, I suppose.

4. What's your favorite part of our BMB? The GIFs

5. When you're not bumping, what are your other hobbies? You can usually find me wearing my "I Heart The Bump" sandwich board and ringing my bell.

6. Anything else you care to share? I made french toast out of croissants for dinner and I had a major foodgasm. Nomnom.

1. What baby is this for you? Number 1-2 (we're efficient)
2. Do you know the sex/name of the baby yet? Two girls - Violet and Scarlett.
3. What took you so long to intro? I don't think I intro'd I just appeared like magic one day. I was very freaking excited to be pregnant after forever so I'm pretty sure it was right after my BFP I made an appearance. There's no getting rid of me, muhaha.
4. What's your favorite part of our BMB? That we're freaking awesome.
5. When you're not bumping, what are your other hobbies? I'm usually working, eating, watching TV, thinking about what I want to eat, eating some more...
6. Anything else you care to share? I have two dogs who are complete spazzes but I love them and they are my babies.

@rachel5130, me too!!! I facilitated a boy's therapy group last year and had to teach sex Ed. One asked me what a blue waffle was and wanted to know if it was true... So I googled it, at work. Needless to say, 8 teen boys had the laugh of their life when I told them that I googled it!!! I then lectured them on the blue waffle for an hour and scared them to death about STD's!

Boy and I think we officially decided on Cameron Forrest (Forrest is H's late grandfather's name)

I intro'd right after my BFP. I suppose that makes me a Salty Hoe!

I love everything about it! I love how amazing all the women are and how, for the most part, we can have debates that are mature.

Staying up to date on all things NFL, baking, wine tasting (I really want a glass but H is being really mean and not letting me even have a sip! ) I am really boring so that would be all my hobbies.

1. What baby is this for you? This will be baby #1 and #2 for us. Exciting but also very terrifying.

2. Do you know the sex/name of the baby yet? We are having twin girls, Evelyn and Primrose.

3. What took you so long to intro? I haven't done an intro yet so I suppose this will be it. I've been lurking on here since we found out my eggo is prego but I'm a tad shy. Plus, you lovely ladies would have a hay day with my stupidity $:\$ ">

4. What's your favorite part of our BMB? I love all the support you all have for one another. Plus, the Gifs rock my socks! If I knew how to, I'd be Gifing all over the place since it makes me giggle so much

5. When you're not bumping, what are your other hobbies? Since I'm in school, hobbies don't exist for me because I'm too worn out to do anything after class. The bf and I are pretty much like an old couple and like to stay in, though lately we have been focused on improving the house we recently bought, of course it's mostly on the nursery right now.

1. What baby is this for you? Our first, not counting the multitude of furry ones running around!
2. Do you know the sex/name of the baby yet? Female, Ariadne Lorraine. Lorraine is my mothers name and SO and I just really love Ariadne, Ari or Aria for short.
3. What took you so long to intro? I never did a formal intro. I've been around June since the beginning of my pregnancy just under a different SN and I had done an intro under that name (I switched because my old SN had a portion of my real name in it) I was more of a lurker who posted occasionally anyway.
4. What's your favorite part of our BMB? The support I've seen for ladies who have had to go through some hard times. Definitely wonderful to see.
5. When you're not bumping, what are your other hobbies? Traveling when I can, SO and I love camping, hiking, biking, etc. I also am a full time student on top of working 2 part-time jobs so I don't get a whole lot of time to have fun.

2. Do you know the sex/name of the baby yet? We were gonna find out but the two little u/s I had the Dr first said boy, then changed his mind to girl... So we get to be team green unless when we have the a/s and the tech knows. And one of these days, I hope we get serious about names...

3. What took you so long to intro? I never did at the start... Oops...

4. What's your favorite part of our BMB? The gifs and crazy funnies! It has made my day on more than one occasion!

5. When you're not bumping, what are your other hobbies? Pretty much taking care of da fam. I'm a SAHM and I sew and DIY projects that aren't totally above my head.

6. Anything else you care to share? hmm. I can say again I wear dresses all the time and a black 'cap' on my head that we call 'head covering' and am a Mennonite. I know its sorta weird to a lot of people and really hate making anyone uncomfortable so I really love it when everyone is themselves

and questions don't bother me in the least! I actually didn't grow up this way so I know how curious it is.

5. When you're not bumping what are your other hobbies? Well, I'm back in school for my BSN so homework. But also playing world of Warcraft and watching movies with DH.

2. Boy, but I hate all the boy names. This child will be called "baby" forever.

3. What took you so long? I've been around for awhile but didn't join until about 2nd tri. I was too paranoid. I'd joined BMBs before but those pregnancies ended in losses so I decided to wait a bit longer this time.

4. Favorite part of BMB: Lots of good info, some knowledgeable ladies and a larger audience so you can get more answers to your questions. It's also nice that there are always new posts to read. I love my PAIF board, but it can be slow.

5. Other hobbies: Mostly playing around on the internet, walking my pup, house hunting (we need more space!), watching netflix, and reading blogs. Young House Love is my favorite. I have been trying to de-clutter my house and work on some small DIY projects. I was running for awhile but losses and infertility put a stop to that, can't wait to get started again after this baby is born.

6. Anything else you care to share? I've been bumping for over 3 years now thanks to our long IF journey. But I've been hiding it from DH until recently because I knew he would tease me to death for it. He's a big fat lurker on Reddit but since he doesn't post I guess it's not the same thing. Now sometimes he reads TB over my shoulder.

2. Do you know the sex/name of the baby yet? Team Green! We don't like any names yet so we figure we will let the baby pick one as soon as it's old enough to speak.
3. What took you so long to intro? I've been a hardcore lurker since I was about 1 day pregnant and as time passed I felt it was harder to jump in. Also, I'm exclusively mobile so no avatar/profile pic changes, can't post gifs, and it's hard to type lengthy posts on a phone etc so I feel like I'm just a name
4. What's your favorite part of our BMB? The sarcastic posts & laughing at the people who don't get sarcasm. Obviously! Love reading about the shared experiences and seeing the sense of community that has been built around it.
5. When you're not bumping, what are your other hobbies? I run a little Etsy shop, used to be hardcore in strength training but now I just read articles & program plan for after baby, watch a whole lot of trashy tv.
6. Anything else you care to share? I've been an unemployed teacher/college instructor/guidance counsellor for the past 3.5 months so time is draaaagggginnngggg on. I've had a previous loss so I worry about every strange sensation & reading others posts has been great reassurance at times (and other times it's caused me to sweat like a whore in church due to anxiety & panic). This board is like crack to me so I really should contribute more. You're a great group. I follow two other boards and this is the best.

2. Do you know the sex/name of the baby yet? We find out the sex next Friday (seriously, I think I am the last of the Mohicans who still don't know what they're having... aside from Team Greeners of course). If it's a girl - Stella Marie. Boy - Roman (MN TBD)

4. What's your favorite part of our BMB? All the catfish baby mommas. And I discovered how to chat on mobile last night which was pretty neat.

5. When you're not bumping, what are your other hobbies? Running, mostly. I also like to paint/build/Bob Vila the shit out of my house. My mom and I want to start our own business flipping houses together. Great idea in theory but we'd probably end up killing each other in the process.

I am very shy, and I really dislike attention. Even though I don't contribute a ton, I've been around since I found out I was pregnant and have really enjoyed reading what everyone has posted.

The members. I am a naturally sassy person and I feel like a ton of the women on here are too.

I my current hobbies include napping and avoiding housework at all costs, but I typically love doing barre workouts and crafty things.

     I can't say it's the first baby, because we lost one last year.

2. Do you know the sex/name of the baby yet? Team Pink
    Haven't been able to commit to a name. It's fun seeing the girl names you have chosen.

3. What took you so long to intro?
    Last time I joined a board, I M/C right after. I wanted to make sure I was "good and pregnant" before I put myself out there again. Plus, work is a beast!

4. What's your favorite part of our BMB?
     The love and support. Sending out T's & P's means a lot to me because I have been there. Plus, where else can I complain about all the stupid stuff that keeps happening to my body?

5. When you're not bumping, what are your other hobbies?
     Pilates is my friend! I love to travel.

     I have never seen snark in such a loving way. Someone must teach me this art.
