I meant to comment on that in your "who are you" thread @ladyoriza, Wolves of the Calla was my favorite of the Dark Tower books!
Others have covered the OP well, but I feel the need to tell scarletwhoever to bite my shiny metal ass.
So from this entire thread I'm either A) Not properly feeding my kid or Not leaving the house....neither of which is the case so I choose the more appriopriate C) Where I'm obviously Super Woman for getting my kid fed and napped while at the same time being out of the house....you can all bow in awe now. Go ahead....bow....

This is why I breastfeed, we are able to leave the house whenever.
I didn't know feeding formula put people on house arrest.
You didn't hear? The ankle bracelt comes with the formula tub.
Ooh is it at least cute?!?
I heard they have limited edition ones that change colors like a mood ring!!
@MommyKristin88 of course! @V&G101808 probably had a hand in designing them with her fantastic fashion sense.
I'd wear anything V&G designed!!
Married DH : 7/7/12; 3 fur babies (2 dogs and 1 cat) DS born 9/3/13; DD born 7/22/15; LO due 5/28/18 FS (age 5) and FD (age 2) to become AS/AD very soon!
She's too busy telling her baby when to be hungry.

When we switched to formula I noticed that my daughter ate every 2-4 hours but I just feed her when she seems hungry. I kept track for the first little while to see how much she was eating and she never eats over the recommended amount for her age which is 24-27 ounces.
OMG. I haven't checked this recently and had no idea it would create so much controversy. I have trouble feeding him and getting in the car because he throws up so much from reflux. I have to feed him slowly (30 minutes at least) then keep him upright and still for 30 minutes or he throws up everywhere - which obviously isn't comfortable or good for him. That leaves an hour till the next feed, and waiting period. I'm sure people who don't have babies with bad reflux don't think about this but it is a huge deal. If I feed him when out he will throw up all over both of us. The last two times I tried to take him out we had to leave the store immediately because we were both covered in vomit. If he can have a full hour for feeding and sitting then chances of him throwing up decrease dramatically. It may only happen once, and one throw up is much more manageable than 3 or 4 in a 1/2 hour.
And BFing didn't make a difference. Same problem with reflux only I had to feed in the car because once he turned 4 months he would grab at and pull at the cover. But good for you.
Thanks to those who actually had some helpful advice.
And I "disappeared" because I didn't have time to check the internet. It's called real life. I work and my husband was out of town and I was trying to take care of my kid. Not trying to be rude - unlike some of these responses. What is wrong with you people? I'm a fellow mom - first time - trying to figure things out. Are you so bored that all you can do is sit around making up snarky comments? Anyone who posts a question on here does so because they love their kid and is trying to figure out the best thing for them. Are you really so pathetic that you need to make fun of another woman to make yourself feel like super mom? Adios.

C had reflux, too, so I understand the hassle of trying to keep them upright and dealing with throw up everywhere - it sucks! But, that being said, it helps to feed them smaller quantities more frequently so it would be an even worse idea to try to make him eat more than he's ready for at each sitting. If he's still refluxing this bad, it's probably time to see pedi GI or have a more serious conversation with your pedi. Good luck!

This is fucking hilarious says the woman who came on the board to ask when she should feed her kid.
Listen, sweet cheeks, if you have an issue with the way people respond...don't post here. I mean why would you want advice from women who have no lives or perspectives? I mean, that is what you just insinuated, correct?
Lol. This is seriously hilarious and weird all at the same time.
Okay, so I have a reflux baby too, so I get the being covered in vomit issue. However, I doubt larger, more spread out feeds are your solution whether you BF or FF. Small, frequent feeds tend to stay down better. Talk to your pediatrician obviously, but I really see feeding more at one time vs. Smaller amounts more often making the spitting up worse.

First, calm your tits! (Hoping for awesome GIFS)If you have a real life outside of the internet as I am positive most of us here do have and *chuckle* you would know if you spent half a second on this board, then you should maybe ask someone in your life outside of the internet and not a bunch of snarky bitches *i heart you all* on the internet that you don't know a damn thing about. You get snark when it is warranted. Don't let the door hit ya on the way out.

PS...if you are only interested in posting and running, perhaps you would have better luck at this new site that has all kinds of information:
I think I'm just going to stop feeding my kid altogether because it's too much of a hassle. He's 6 months old now, he should be able to fend for himself.
What do you guise think?
I absolutely agree.... We have cared for their well being long enough, they are old enough to figure it out.
