Sitting at the MFM clinic right now. Waiting to meet with my genetic counselor to discuss possible trisomy 13 and deletion 18. Will also have blood taken and an amino to confirm whether or not my son has genetic abnormalities. Hoping for the best but am preparing for the worst. Honestly wish I was anywhere else right now.
Hoping everything goes well for all of you lovely ladies.
Last minute appointment for me today at 4:30 pm CST. My heart started racing last
night and was still racing this morning when I got up. That coupled
with dizziness every time I stood up makes my OB want me to come in this
afternoon to check my iron levels and blood pressure.
T&P's!

Had our A/S including a fetal echo this morning with the high risk doc. Our boys both looked great! One is measuring at 1 pound and the other 1 pound 1 ounce. There were a little shy with certain shots and needed some coaxing, but definitely not when it came to showing their manhood! lol
In all seriousness though, after reading the devastating news on these boards over the last few weeks, I was incredibly nervous about today's scan and so thankful that things look good for now. One of our primary concerns was my cervical length since I had a LEEP years ago but my cervix was measuring long at over 4 and they said that anything over a 3 is fine. In addition, DH's side of the family has a history of kidney issues. His uncle, brother and our nephew were all born with one kidney. DH's brother is still in his 30's and has had two transplants already. We were thrilled that both the tech and high risk doc were each able to see two kidneys in each of our boys during the different sessions. I got all choked up at the end b/c I had convinced myself we were in for upsetting information. Counting my blessings right now......

@supgabs - Thinking of you and praying for positive results!
Had my A/S this morning and was SO surprised to find out that I'm having a GIRL!! First girl on my family's side in 30 years and on my husband's in 21 years. Baby girl was in good health. The only concern was that the umbilical cord did not attach to the center of the placenta so I may have trouble getting it out after birth. This seems very minor and I am not worried about it after hearing baby girl is perfect.
In addition, @supgabs - my thoughts and prayers are also with you.
It took a while, lots of prodding, rolling me over, and walking around, but he finally moved into a position so they could see the spine. Everything looks good!
@supgabs and @marcip83 thinking of you both still and sending prayers!
5 hours later.. I'm finally headed home. Stomach ultrasound still showed the bright area, so they had me do blood work to rule out CMV and toxoplasmosis. Results should come back in about a week. Until then, we wait.
However, Isaiah was moving around like a madman, and we got to see his sweet little face. He was making a sucking motion with his mouth; it was adorable!! I just love him so much!

Frustrating to have to wait for answers Thinking about you!. Glad you got to see little guy moving around!
supgabs, will keep up the t's and p's. If it helps, babycenter has great support groups for families going through these scary and frustrating situations.
My fetal echo went well. Wish I could have watched, but I get that this isn't a "fun" scan, it's all business. LO did the usual thing where LO decided not to move at all and stayed in the exact wrong position to check the heart. This lasted an hour. Then I went to eat at the sonographer's request, and about an hour later, LO decided to stretch and wander about. They were able to finally get the images needed. Dr said things looked great. Only oddball comment was "there could be tiny holes that weren't picked up, but those generally resolve themselves." Um...OK.
Last step is a 25th week growth scan for my MFM. My regular OB sonogram @ 21 weeks looked normal (at least to him), so I'm going to assume all is well for now. Thanks for all the comments! I really feel like we are here for each other!
Had my regular 4 week appt tonight. Heartbeat was 155 and for the first time I asked to have my blood pressure taken at the end of the appt and it was normal! Woohoo! Hope everyone else had great appointments t & p to those waiting for results
Had my scan earlier today but just getting home from work. I am happy to say we are having a Boy. Husband and I are very happy baby looks healthy and was being a stinker to get certain pic of the heart. Was able to get one side but not the other side good. He kept moving I go back in four weeks to see if we can get more of the heart on the right side. Heart rate was 155 and he was putting up his hands.
One last thing we have decided to get family pic done on this Sunday and then we will be telling everyone through the pic. Can't wait to see everyone's face when we tell them.
Keeping everyone in thoughts and prays the u all get good news.
Successful scan. Healthy BIG baby. Got long legs like it's daddy. We found out the sex but are keeping it secret until Saturday. .. And my mom is determined to find out so I wouldn't put it past her to somehow search me out on here. Totally worth the 2 hour wait!

The waiting game definitely keeps me on pins and needles, but I just try to remain optimistic. It has been one thing after another with this pregnancy, but I know it's a blessing and we'll take on whatever comes our way. Thanks for thinking of me!
I went to labor and delivery for this pressure and foot dangling in my crotch feeling. Found out I have some funneling and my baby had his foot in my cervix. I wish he would find a better play place.
I'm mobile so I can't see your ticker to see how far you are. Can they do a cerclage since you're funneling? Hope everything goes well.
supgabs and everyone else, hope everything went well! Post updates when you can!
Had my 20 wk anatomy scan with my mom, fiance', and daughter present. DD gave a disappointed "Oh" when the tech confirmed we are having a boy (Fiance' heard her, had her on his lap due to lack of chairs). I didn't hear her, but she put on a brave face and told me she was excited. My sweet girl didn't want me to know she was disappointed! Anyways, everything looks good, and my cervix was checked again and it looks good too! Found out I have an anterior placenta which explains why I mostly feel pushing from the front and kicks to the cervix. Also going to be AW, but love this pic of baby boy sucking his thumb!
Thanks for all the T's & P's...sorry I haven't updated before now! I've been without internet since Tuesday morning. Anywho, Dr appt this past Monday went as well as it could! Cervix closed, baby looked great, bleeding has stopped, and I got to get off of the round-the-clock Procardia and move to an "as needed" basis. Also got moved from "strict" to "modified" bed rest. Yahoo! Dr said if I have more than 4-6 contractions in an hour, lie down and drink some water. If they don't slow/stop, then I take a Procardia and wait another hour. If that doesn't do the trick, then we're off the L&D again. At this point, I have only had to resort to the Procardia once (last night), and I think it's because I might have overdone it a little bit yesterday with a little too much roaming around the house. Won't make that mistake again. I am discovering it is so difficult to parent 2 children while on bed rest, though! Anyhow, just thought I would update with some happy news. I've missed ya'll this week while I've been "unplugged" from cyberspace. Happy to be back in action And PS...I'm currently celebrating Vday by watching baby boy have an en-utero dance party. Loving it...so thankful to be baking a baby today...

@supgabs not a fun day! I'm sorry you're having to worry so much. I'm praying baby boy is fine and you are fine!
@marcip83 hoping for good news!
