Since I want to Ignore the Other Thread... Can we get a check in?

I just can't today with the thread and the bickering and all. I just can't.

But, along the lines of wonder where @Luna C has been (I know that won't tag her... stupid limitations of TB) and where @lellymine has gone off to, I've been wonder where @mrsgerman has been. I'm hoping everything is okay with these ladies.

As well as all our ladies who are in limbo. I sometimes have a hard time following the most recent udpates when those threads are 10, 12, a bazillion pages long. I'll go back and catch the various SNs that fit into either of these two categories, but if we could get a quick Monday check in from those ladies, if they can, it might be really helpful.

In the meantime, I'm going to go try and be warm and fuzzy somewhere. My nerves just can't take it another day.

ETAA: I see there is a 2nd tri bleeding/struggling check in... so feel free to ignore this one. I'm done. Cannot do more.

Agreed, and I have been worried about @mrsgerman as well. I'm at the bottom of an emotional well right now, and totally feel you, chickpea. Zoinks.

The killer is that before I opened TB today, I was actually feeling just fine. Feeling a little ridiculous that internet strangers apparently mean that much to me that reading just one thread with some bickering can totally tank my relatively decent mood.

Thanks, I tried to go back to previous pages to make sure I hadn't missed anyone, but it was a sure thing that I'd miss someone.

Please be sure to tag anyone I have missed - I'm certainly fallible and wouldn't be surprised if I missed biggies.

I'm just jealous, we are getting more snow this week.

I'm glad someone did the check-in. I was wondering last week about an easier way to keep tabs on each other. We need a buddy system or something.

I didn't know about the labor buddies! I'm guessing it is another person who you can text when you're going into labor who can update the board, right? I don't see why this couldn't even be the same person... we're just being extra prepared

@joules235 - the way we did LBs on my old BMB was to start a thread for it and let people match up how they pleased. After a day or two of that, another thread with people who want to have one but who don't care who it is can be started/added to, and then you can match them up according to due dates, Canada vs. US (for texting/calling), etc.

eta - just as a suggestion. You don't have to do it this way

IMO it's easier to be at least a week or so apart so you're less likely to be in labor at the same time

I think they sometimes say match up with someone not due around the same time, to minimize the chances of you both being in labor at the same time.
Of course, thats all a crapshoot and how much fun would it be if you could both be laboring and racing to see who pushes their kid out first? You could be all "yay my uterus wins!" and then hand out these:

Well. My tailbone has been killing me for weeks and I'm starting to get some sciatica. I still want in on the labour buddies thing, and I promise I won't blame any of my aches and pains on my labour buddy.

I think if everyone who wants a labour buddy gets one, no one should get butthurt.
