Hello ladies, i was curious to see if there were any other gamer moms out there on this site.

I know, fat chance, but seriously, how often do women play table top/card/video games in secret??? more often then not. BOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! all of us have a little nerd in us, be it reading, or whipping up something awesome from a cook book ((or without)) but I'm really hoping to meet some ladies who enjoy gaming in their free time. and for those of you who dont think it's possible to game because there isnt any free time, oh i assure you there is. when the kids are sleeping, when DH is asleep, and when i stay awake with the beautiful gift that is pregnancy induced insomnia, i like to get on League of Legends. Or even write a few chapters of Dungeons and Dragons for the story line. Maybe i just like to sit down and play mario on the Wii instead.

so i ask you ladies, Does anyone else game?

Statistics actually show that about half of all gamers are women; the advent of mobile and social games has disproven the stereotype of gamers being teenage boys in their parents basement for some time now.

I have Bi-weekly game night with my sister and friend, we play mario party, Mario kart on wii

when i'm alone I play Legend of Zelda, I am yet to finish skyward sword cause the shadow realms scares the crap out of me... I would probably enjoy WoW but I know my addictive personality I would end up quitting my job and sitting in front of the computer for the rest of my life.

LOL @abbeychase - This is why I also never started anything like WoW! Skyrim was minorly addictive until glitches became overly aggravating, had to let that one go =(

Love me anything to do with Mario - as soon as the new game comes out, I'm there buying it. Zelda, too. But, my two favorite games so far have been the new Tomb Raider on PS3 and The Last of Us. Best. Games. EVER.

lol i played WoW for a long time. both sides of the fence, but now LOK'TAR OGAR!! now i mostly do LoL with my fiancee and some times we do FFXIV. my brother runs his own Link Shell and so it's fun to pop on from time to time there. definatly looking for more League players though. maybe some of you lovely ladies would be interested in playing?? it's free and pretty easy. once you find a champion that you like any who. I really should find a group of people to D&D with again but i just dont care enough to finish writing my story. i have enough to try and think about with school and babies and a wedding. maybe some of you would be interested in joining me on LoL???

WoW, Wii, the classic video games like Mario and Zelda, all the Lego games, board and card games. DH is the Minecraft person in the household. Hoping to find a good balance of games and outside play for this LO since I won't be able to totally stop him from gaming with our backgrounds and his aunts uncles and grandparents lol.

My husband is more into it than I am, but we play tabletop/card games on Fridays and Saturdays most weekends. Right now, I really like Lords of Waterdeep, Shadows over Camelot, Seasons, and Eldritch Horror. Love Pandemic (we have all the expansions), King of Tokyo and the Ticket to Ride games. Got into RPGs for a bit - never played Dungeons and Dragons but we played Call of Cthulhu and I loved it. Would love to try the Supernatural RPG - I'm such a TV geek.

Oh yeah, we also watch Wil Wheaton's Tabletop every Thursday for a new episode!

Yay so many of us are gamers! I met my hubby in an ICC pug back in WotLK (WoW).
We still both play wow, and occasionally I log on to Aion, SWTOR and D3. Still have Rift, Neverwinter and GW2 installed but never really got into those.

Big Gamer here! I have computer games, Game Boy, Sega Genesis, N64, Playstation 2, Nintendo DS, Wii, PS3, and Xbox 360.

All time favorite are the Zelda games (esp. Ocarina of Time and Skyward Sword) and Super Smash Brothers on N64. Recently bought Fable Anniversary on Xbox360 but I haven't had a chance to play it yet.
