My family could really use your thoughts or prayers or both.
Yesterday my parents dropped off my elderly grandfather at his apartment and went home. He is older, has been generally independent, but has started to develop some early Alzheimer's / dementia. In fact they had just come from touring a long term care facility because they had all agreed he was beginning to need some more help with ADL's, etc. Anyway that was yesterday around 5pm and so they called him this morning to check on him and he didn't pick up, which was strange, but they let it go figuring he was just sleeping in. They then drove an hour to have lunch with us and when they got to the restaurant they started to get real worried because it had been way too long without speaking with him. So they called the police who said they would do a wellness check and get back to us. They never called back so my parents drove an hour back home and went to his apartment and the door was unlocked and my grandfather was not there. They officially declared him missing with the police and searched all hospitals in the area and they still can't find him. He NEVER leaves the house without my parents and would never leave the door unlocked.
I'm so worried as he has been more confused lately and it is so so cold outside. I am hoping so badly that he is safe and ok.

PG#1 - 3rd cycle BFP. Team Green. HELLP syndrome @ 34 weeks.
Later diagnosed with Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, possible link to HELLP.
PG#2 M/C 3/14 - Surprise BFP 2/13. Beta's doubled every 52 hours from 3w5d-5w5d
Viable pregnancy scan at 5w5d; 2nd u/s showed 2 days of growth in 7 but a HB of 120
3rd u/s on 3/10/14 had no HB and baby had only grown 7 days over 14
D&C 3/17/14 - complications - DX Retroflexed uterus, multiple tears to cervix

Do you know did they do a silver alert?
4 losses- MC in 2006, MMC in February 2012 at 12 weeks and MMC (twins) August 2016 at 12 weeks. Pregnant again- 11/7/16. Another loss on December 28, 2016.

It is similar to an amber alert for elderly people. Keep in mind there is criteria that has to be met that can be strict. You could ask them about it though.

9/30/14--Off the bench! Unmedicated TI through December 2014
BFP 12/14/14!!! Beta #1, 12/16: 990 Beta #2, 12/18: Over 2000! Beta #3, 12/22: over 8000!
U/S #1, 12/23: gestational sac, possible heartbeat
U/S #2, 12/30: HEARTBEAT! 128bpm, measuring right on at 7w EDD: 8/19/2015
U/S #3, 1/9: BPM in the 180s, IT'S HAPPENING!!!
