I'd say I fall into the unicorn category. Never had any m/s, wasn't exhausted during first tri (although I'm more tired now than I was then) and no major scares or anything like that. My only major (to me) symptom is relentless constipation so I do pay my dues in that respect... but only about once a week.
i am TOTALLY a unicorn. though don't misunderstand, i have had problems with both my previous pregnancies (low platelets that required monthly then weekly blood draws and monitoring, low fluid, iugr, weekly growth u/s, etc.) but never really a symptom that bothered my day to day life during pregnancy. i truly love being pregnant because it has never been a bad experience for me.
WAIT! except my damn symphisis pubis dysfunction. holy hell does that hurt. and it took chiro 6mos pp to get that shit back together post baby last time. ugh.
i think it is all the ice cream i eat that makes me so happy during pregnancy, really. where can i get that sweet uni head gear?
I feel like a unicorn with this pregnancy even though I have acne on my face, shoulders and back, morning sickness into 23 weeks, back pain, hip pain and ridiculous weight gain. My last pregnancy I had all of those symptoms, placenta previa, bleeding at 14 weeks until birth, uterus infection at about 30 weeks, pre-term labor (due to infection) dilated to 3 cm then the doctors managed to stop it. Bed rest until I delivered at 36 weeks. I feel very lucky this time around, so far.. Compared to my first pregnancy, I won't complain about anything! Haha
My first was the most perfect pregnancy, not a single symptom and by the end I remember feeling like I could do it forever, not even a little bit over being pregnant. He even came a week early... but labor was a bitch.
My second was a little rougher early on, but only because I was comparing it to my first. After some nausea, back to easy. Labor was WAY easier and quicker.
This time was really, really rough in the beginning and still creeps up on me. I felt like I was getting payback for the other two. Now that things have settled down, I do forget I'm pregnant most of the time, but it's hard to enjoy as much because I don't know when the nausea will creep back in. Really hoping the labor trend continues, though!
